Very interesting and the lady working was so knowledgeable š§”

I'm not sure the last time this was open but it looks like it's been some time and is in much need of much repair and restoration the state can find Money To Blow on other projects protecting our history should be one of our most important things my next call will be to the local state representative to ask them to look into this matter

Wasn't open, enjoyed walking around the grounds. Cool piece of history. Very neat.

My experience was free. Donation only. I did give a Donation I totally love this place. Filled with such great history. Can't wait to go back.

It was closed so I'm unable to give a full review. Really looks like it is falling into disrepair.

It was closed, but still nice to hang around the house.

This is a beautiful French Creole House that used to be located within the boundaries of Kaskaskia. The guide was very knowledgeable and knew a lot about both the House and the family. They have some pictures of Kaskaskia that I have never seen before in the basement museum. The house itself really needs some restoration work done on it. Unfortunately the state has been unwilling to spend much money on it during the past years and has let it end up in its current state.
