Wow, besides a number of nice riders on the train itself what a horrible experience with their employees.
-out 50 euros because their machine sold us passes for a zone we weren’t even in. Tried to get a refund. It was always “talk to someone else”. Zero accountability
-out 35 euros for a fine for not having a validated ticket. We paid, but 1 of our 3 tickets wasn’t validated when we took our stroller through. Apparently there’s some hustle where people don’t validate tickets and refund them, but see above refunds aren’t possible. We had the option of paying the fine or they’d call the police. We talked about discretion and compassion for visiting Canadians that don’t know about this get rich slow 5 euro hustle…they had none.
-and then someone misunderstood my request and overcharged us 5 euros. Receipt in hand, 30 seconds later, and no refund.
This is seriously a pathetic organization. To the people we interacted with: shame on you for your indifference and arrogance…you basically scammed a young family. To those in leadership positions: double shame on you: the policies you’ve set and your indifference for customer treatment run deep.
You all suck and we will never return to Paris.

J'ai acheté 10 tickets avec l'application que je n'ai pas utiliser puisque le système nfc semble avoir un soucis physique. Mais pourquoi, sans avoir touché ou utiliser ni l'application ni les tickets, ceux ci ont ils disparu ? Je viens d'être remboursé, deux semaines plus tard, après avoir bien bien insisté.... Bon courage

Inadmissible que la RATP me mette rien en place pour recycler les cartes navigo en plastique en 2023! Ils veulent arrêter le ticket papier et poussent à la carte rechargeable sans anticiper leur fin de vie (changement de forfait, casse…) c’est impensable en 2023 de ne pas proposer un service simple de recyclage ♻️

Sans nul doute le réseau de métro le plus pitoyable de toutes les grandes villes d’Europe. Vous ne survivez uniquement au sauvetage et aux perfusions de moyens de l’état. Je ne vous souhaite qu’une chose, c’est la mise en concurrence, et les licenciements ! A ceux qui bossent à la RATP, j’espère que la honte vous gagne tous les matins vu le niveau de service que vous rendez à ce pays.

Absolute shocking way to treat tourists. Me and my wife were travelling about 6 stations and at the arrival there was a checkpoint. We threw our tickets away when we got in the metro because we didn’t know you have to carry them with you( those miniature tickets easily to lose) as a result they threatened us and fined us 100 euros for basically nothing. The payment was showing up in my mobile app Shame on you ratp

while traveling in paris, i was charged by the bus police even though i had a valid ticket. i was trying to explain it to them that the ticket is valid, as i had bought it earlier that day, but they wouldn’t let me go until i paid 50€. they were incredibly rude and disrespectful to me and my friends. be careful as they are not dressed in any official wear and they just wait and harass people.

We were ambushed by a pack of thugs / ticket inspectors moments after purchasing our tickets and crossing the gate at Gare De Lyon train station. They have no willingness to assist tourists in any way and instead try to accost you into paying a “penalty”. After engaging in a heated argument we left and refused to pay a cent. Be wary of using the metro as a tourist because they are the most unfriendly gang of thieves made even worse because they are “official”.

J’ai du payer une amende de 50€ alors que je n’ai pas eu le temps d’acheter mon ticket, sinon le tramway allait partir sans moi! En plus les tickets se démagnétisent dans le sac avec des clés/CB/portable. Et il y a souvent des retards…
