Lots of hiking, kayaking, fishing opportunities. Picnic areas with beautiful views. Swimming area, now with child life-jackets to use free. Run by Army Corps of Engineers.
My favorite place to run in Pboro. The wooded trail that starts near the dam is magical, especially towards the end just before reaching the road. If you run on the road a bit you can do a loop around the lake.

Beautiful place. Be sure to drive down to the parking spot for the proper views and trails.
You’re able to swim here, just a bit swampy, so check yourself after if you go in!
Full tree coverage surrounding the lake, no houses and fairly quiet. Not a lot of folks traffic here which is perfect for me 😅
