I ordered the Maquli Pita (eggplant, halloumi and fries), it was perfectly spiced, hot and delicious. I couldn't believe how good it was the whole time I ate it. Top notch sandwich!

The lamb shank and wrap were excellent. Portions are large. Service was quick with friendly staff. Fully halal.

Yalla is a step above the rest!! The hot sauce they put on the lamb was excellent, the food was super fresh and it was a fair price. Service was great. 10/10 would return here again. They also recently started offering a bean meat stew which was super tasty

It was my first time in an Iranian restaurant in Victoria. I ordered Baqali polo with Mahiche, it was so delicious. And also the employees were so nice and kind. Good atmosphere. Recommend.

The place is nice and the atmosphere is good. Service is good. My problem was the food. The meat was dry and not juicy. In the lafa, not enough salad, no tahini. The portions were kind of small for the price. Limonana is super sweet! Even my kids couldn't drink it. We had big expectations for the flavors and were disappointed.

I go to Victoria often for business and always eat at the usual spots. Today a cab driver recommended this place.

I usually never write reviews, but for this place I had to. What an amazing experience! It’s a family owned business and you feel like you’re at someone’s home. They are friendly and welcoming. Food is outstanding, fresh, great quality, and portions are just right.

I will get back again and again!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at this Middle Eastern/Persian restaurant and was thoroughly impressed by both the food and the hospitality. The maquli bowl, which I ordered, was bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection. The portion size was generous and left me feeling satisfied but not overly full.

What really stood out to me, though, was the warmth and welcoming nature of the staff. From the moment I entered the restaurant, I was greeted with a smile and made to feel like a valued guest. Throughout my meal, the staff checked in on me to ensure that I was enjoying my food and had everything I needed.

Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for delicious Middle Eastern/Persian cuisine and a warm and welcoming dining experience. I will certainly be returning soon!
