Eight Coffee Bar by UCC

Drinks are the star at UCC. Despite an array of coffee and matcha choices, quality is never compromised.

The unique aesthetics, which wonderfully differ from one cafe to the next, make the UCC experience even more special.

Residing inside the 8 Rockwell is the Eight Coffee Bar by UCC. This popular Japanese coffee has been a favorite of mine so it's no surprise that I will enjoy their coffee.

On a hot morning, I ordered a hot "Matcho," which is a Matcha flavored coffee and a Clubhouse Sandwich. The coffee was just okay. I would prefer a stronger Matcha flavor in it. The sandwich was divine - pure and simple.

As for the location, I love the quiet environment. They have an outdoor seating area. The place is not that big so it can get crowded easily during its busy hours. The staff are attentive and look sharp in their uniform.

Honestly, the coffee here is overrated. They advertise siphon coffee as one of their specialities but their staffs know nothing about coffee. They don't even know if their beans are Arabica or Robusta...

I tried Sumiyaki coffee on ice and a hot siphon one and both beans are completely burnt. Sumiyaki one really gives horrible taste. The beans themselves, also contain too much preservatives, that might make a sensitive drinker feels sick. Siphon coffee tastes like boiled water. No after taste.

The cafe is hidden inside of an office building. It's not so easy to find.

A hearty breakfast followed by siphoned coffee is always best at UCC. Eight Coffee Bar is now a favorite nook for me while in the busy Rockwell area due to its quiet location in the 2nd Level of 8 Rockwell.

I highly recommend this cafe for its quiet and cozy ambience coupled with the ever consistent flavors expected of the UCC brand. Some of my favorites for breakfast are the Native Longganisa and delectable Grilled Cheese Sandwhich!

Will definitely be coming back for more coffee sessions ❤👍🏻

It fascinates me to watch UCC brew its coffee in beakers. It is unique compared to the metal, smoking, massive coffee machines that many cafes use. Tried its fluffy pancake which UCC introduces for those on keto diet— I love it! And I am not on this diet or any diet at all 😂! The fresh juice I ordered is delicious!

Ambiance is really good and relaxing. Food is worthy of its price. It's a bit costly but still worth your money. The picture attached is what I ordered - Cajun Prawns with Aligue Rice. Super yum!!!
