I recently visited Panco Cafe and was blown away by the incredible breakfast experience. The breakfast brisket was tender, flavorful, and perfectly cooked, served with just the right balance of savory sides. The tiramisu latte was equally impressive, combining rich coffee flavor with creamy, dessert-like sweetness—a perfect morning treat. The cozy ambiance and warm, attentive staff made the visit even more enjoyable. Panco Cafe is now at the top of my list for a delicious breakfast and great coffee. I can't wait to return and explore more of their menu!
The food was really good, I loved the vinegary taste of the onions, it added to the already delicious chicken. It gave it variety. I also loved the drinks, it wasn’t overly sweet and bitter, it was just right based on my taste. 10/10 overall
Kid friendly place, and the mascots were really friendly. The food portions are justifiable for their price. The food is delicious and good for sharing. My family enjoyed the overall experience. Parking was a bit hard since you'll just park in the side of the road.
Love this American oldie’s atmosphere so much. I went there on a weekend so the restaurant was busy and packed, but it didn’t matter at all. We just took a bunch of photos while waiting. We got a red car table seat, it was fun! Their buko shake was a bomb, I was surprised at how big their portion was!
The only thing I felt sad about was I guess their deep-frying oil was kinda… old..? I smelled something wrong with their French fries and onion ring in my porky black bun burger and I believe it was coming from deep-frying oil. but overall, it’s a great amusement restaurant. Will comeback again!

Needs More Organization
Went in on a weekday for an early lunch. No more than 6 tables of customers - the rest of the place was empty.
I had to wait at least 10 minutes to be able to place my order.
It took more than 20+ min for the pork to arrive. The pork loin was kind of tough. It also took a really long time for the food to come given there was no crowd.
And my drink was still not served until I reminded them halfway thru my meal.
Am not sure if the service staff had not yet done their warm up exercises that day, but they sure could do with some. Not sure if I’d be back.

A nice dining experience for special occasions. Our favorite dishes were Salmon y Salmon and the Paella Pulpo. The churros were a tad bit too oily but the chocolate cake with berries was very well-balanced. Overall, it was a refined dining experience with comforting food and very pleasant staff! Shoutout to Anthony, our server, for ensuring we enjoyed the night 🙂
They had me at the vibe! Very colorful, loud, and maximalist. The place has a lot of IG-worthy corners. As for the food, not too bad. We generally enjoyed our food. Customer service can be improved. We had to remind three different waiters for our drinks.
This will forever my go-to restaurant when it’s late night since they open for 24hrs.

The WiFi connection is consistently strong and the tables are well-spaced, which helps soften the sound of chatter for those needing to focus on their work/studies. Superb experience! My sisters and I were glad to have visited this restaurant. The place is absolutely the best 50s diners I’ve ever seen. The food is also great. We enjoyed all their food. Servings are also big and good for sharing.
This place has good food and drinks. I especially recommend their Manila style Chicken Inasal, Lechon Kawali, and the Palabok!!! The Palabok is a must-try. For the drinks, their Tiramisu Latte is a hit.
Their chocolate cake is a good way to end your meal on a sweet note! :)

Filling Station is a true gem, offering excellent food, a welcoming atmosphere filled with charming vintage and retro decor, and exceptional service. The staff is friendly and accommodating, and the menu is diverse and reasonably priced with generous portions. It's my second time here, and it's the perfect spot for a memorable dining experience without breaking the bank. Highly recommended!

The lobster roll was gross and not fresh. Tasted like hard dry fish. My goodness. So pricey for the amount of food and especially the quality. Wouldn't mind paying the price if it's justified in the quality. I have never been this disappointed with food before. :(

Nice place to hangout and savour different selection of dishes. Food itself is delicious, rich broth and protein cuts taste premium. Definitely worth the price. Will come back again
Just love everything about Mendokoro. Tried before in BGC branch, it was so good. Same with their Salcedo branch. Just go before the rush hour to avoid waiting.

Best place for both dumplings and ramen. Service is also quick even when store is full. Dumplings full of flavor with a crisp pan fried layer. Tried new chashu burger and it's tasty but maybe a bit tiny, they pair with an interesting zest sauce.

I don't usually like the ramen I've tried here in PH but this one I like. The ramen broth is rich, but not overwhelmingly thick like most. The pork used in gyoza feels premium and it seems like there are greens in there too which I love.
Make sure to come here hungry because you will leave feeling absolutely stuffed!

Good food and good ambiance! It was really fascinating to have live entertainment near 8 Cuts since there’s an elderly expert pianist playing nice songs right beside the resto. It made the dining experience more enjoyable ❤️

Simple the best ramen restaurant in the world (so far). The employees are amazing , the food is extraordinary, the mood , everything is just perfect. Congrats and thank you for an amazing experience
The food was very good, but the restaurant is located right next to a piano player busker! On my visit today at 5.30pm, my first to this branch, he was thrashing away on his piano keys creating a right noisy racket. It was unbearable and gave me a headache! I won't be back!!
I like their ramen and I order Shio Ramen for myself. You don’t have to wait for long time to get seat nowadays and I heard you can make a reservation as well.
However, they only have counter seat just like Marudori as one for their other brand. Therefore, I would suggest don’t be in a big group in order to have a good conversation. I won’t suggest a big group to come and dine here but a quick bite is definitely a good choice for Ramen

Everything we ordered here was very good. You could tell of the quality of ingredients used. They also hand out breads on the house to start with. Very attentive waitresses coupled with a welcoming atmosphere. Just make sure to check the prices, as I failed to do that myself. Admittedly I was shocked with the bill (₱₱₱), but you get what you pay for! Would come back again to try out their other dishes.
This is definitely one of the bistros group resto that I loved. Really good carpacio and they have a meal set that's was well worth it because you can get an appetizer and a main.

Best lobster roll I’ve had since Pike Place in Seattle.
Great experience from the beginning! Restaurant was well maintained and the staff were friendly. Host had us seated quickly and the server didn’t make us wait long. Food was amazing! We ordered multiple paella to try and their suckling pig, also took their recommendation for appetizer, it was all so delicious!

But the most interesting experience for me is ordering their Moroccan chicken bowl. Well, it was a choice between that and the bibimbap bowl. Then, I realized that I could have the Korean dish elsewhere but not the Moroccan dish. Once I got it, it looked healthy with all the veggies and the chicken. And I liked it. The taste was kinda unusual but I liked it. I was able to finish the bowl and it was satisfying.
Then, we stayed and chatted the whole time until the place was about to close. We had Engkanto beer and ice cream in between. And overall, we liked our experience. We might go back if given another chance.

Appetizer and double chocolate cheesecake are the best, especially the cake. Will go back here for these.

1/5/24 first time visit and definite recommend 👍👍 we had the tantanmen & miso tonkatsu ramen base with egg. Delightful flavors and even ordered extra noodles. Pay when ordering, then will be seated at bar stool seating style. Not suitable for group seating though. Appreciate the bag hook under the counter, just like in Japan 👍 And, loved the “hidden” paneled unisex bathroom that was fully stocked with a toilet seat, TP, hand soap, paper towels and a hand blower. Much appreciated. Takes Visa credit card.

They have the worse hamburger ever, last night I order a hamburger which cost me around 600 with a coke but the quality was terrible as they put green tomatoes inside their burger and the cheese and meat was the lowest quality ever. I suggest Mac Donald or any other international brand burger. And the cheese inside the four cheese sandwich was breaded cheese that was fried in too much oil so oily and no taste at all. And the sandwich was so watery as when you hold it too much water was dripping from it instead of sauce or cheese.
I really expected a good sandwich specially if it’s located in power plant mall of Rockwell we expect better quality but disappointed.

Good cafe for brunch or just coffee! There's also more seating than I expected, since it looks smaller from the outside. Clean interiors too! Food was served quickly. I got an iced vanilla latte and a breakfast sandwich, which had a side salad for under 500, which isn't too bad! Coffee was good and the sandwich was filling enough to last until merienda. Definitely recommend if you're in the area!
Great tasting food! Service is commendable. They don't serve soft drinks but juices, coffee, tea and alcoholic beverages available. Kale Caesar Salad and Grazeland pizza is a must try!
The wholesome table is the best for a person like me who has dietary restrictions! Food, service and ambiance is also superb! My personal favorite is their Chicken salad, gluten free carrot cake and Tamarind iced tea. Indeed, a cravings satisfied! ❤️🍴

Fried chicken and mac & cheese the best ❤️ chocolate cookies is good too. Spanish latte is delicious. Ginger lemonade (50% sugar) is relaxing. Ambiance is great maraming nagwowork, nagbabasa and with fam/friends. Nice staffs. Will return here. 😊
Ironically, there’s nothing bad about their cafe. Their coffee is the prime example of how good this place is. Their pastries may not be god-tier, but they’re toothsome still.

What can I say? I think this is the only place that I know of where you could get lobster rolls. And not just lobster rolls but GOOD ones at that. The bread is fluffy, soft, loaded, and I mean loaded with lobster or shrimp, whatever it is you order.
The shrimp is crunchy, smothered with the right amount of butter, the sauce was just right, not too overpowering, the kind of taste you would want to have more of.
The lobster was also crunchy, the meat was fresh. Same as the shrimp, the sauce was just right. Basically the ratio of the meat, and the bread and the sauce is perfect.
Price of the lobster roll was at P1200 and the shrimp roll was at P450. (May 2023 price). I’d say you get your money’s worth. A must try at The Grid.
What can I say? I think this is the only place that I know of where you could get lobster rolls. And not just lobster rolls but GOOD ones at that. The bread is fluffy, soft, loaded, and I mean loaded with lobster or shrimp, whatever it is you order.
The shrimp is crunchy, smothered with the right amount of butter, the sauce was just right, not too overpowering, the kind of taste you would want to have more of.
The lobster was also crunchy, the meat was fresh. Same as the shrimp, the sauce was just right. Basically the ratio of the meat, and the bread and the sauce is perfect.
Price of the lobster roll was at P1200 and the shrimp roll was at P450. (May 2023 price). I’d say you get your money’s worth. A must try at The Grid.
Drinks are the star at UCC. Despite an array of coffee and matcha choices, quality is never compromised.

Mar 2023: First time to try this small cafe near our pad. The ambience is relaxed and inviting. It's well lit and has outlets for every table so you can stay longer. I hope they put bag hangers under the tables. They offer food items for breakfast and brunch. They also have desserts and homemade ice cream. Different coffee selections and cocktails is also being offered together with pica-pica items.
We ordered Lox Bagel and Honey Garlic Chicken with Garlic Rice. The bagel is delicious but I want more slices of smoked salmon to amp up the flavor. The honey garlic chicken is adequate.
We also ordered hot Americano (hoping it was very strong) and the Iced Spanish Latte (which I thought it was milder in flavor). But, I was wrong...the spanish latte was stronger than the americano. So, I requested for fresh milk and brown sugar on the side.
Overall, we are very happy with our food and coffee. We will surely come back to try their other food offerings and cocktails.

I loved the coffee art and they also carry merchandise from small businesses like @captainhookedph. We also fed Zaldy aka Fifa, their adopted cat waiting outside their doorstep 😊

Once a fan, always a fan may not be true for most situations. Luckily I can proudly say this is true for 8 Cuts. I am a big fan of their Piggy burger and Onion rings. Now there's a new member in my favorites list, the Four Cheese burger. Open it up and you will see a huge chunk of fried Mozzarella cheese on top of the beef patty. Aside from this, there are other cheeses as well making it one of the cheesiest burgers I have ever tasted. We also ordered their chick wich, their own version of chicken sandwich which was also good but not worthy to claim a spot in my favorites list.
Bad Cafe is the perfect cafe to hang-out/catch-up with a friend, do work, and watch short performances. We visited during Bad Words performed prose night and the ambiance of the place just matches with the event.

Residing inside the 8 Rockwell is the Eight Coffee Bar by UCC. This popular Japanese coffee has been a favorite of mine so it's no surprise that I will enjoy their coffee.
On a hot morning, I ordered a hot "Matcho," which is a Matcha flavored coffee and a Clubhouse Sandwich. The coffee was just okay. I would prefer a stronger Matcha flavor in it. The sandwich was divine - pure and simple.
As for the location, I love the quiet environment. They have an outdoor seating area. The place is not that big so it can get crowded easily during its busy hours. The staff are attentive and look sharp in their uniform.

Food is 3 out of 5, service 3.5 out of 5. Burgers we're oily but tasty. Serving size of "to share" criss cut fries was small. Nachos weren't great and the cheese on these things (nachos and fries) was cheez whiz or similar. For the price, I expected proper cheese. Would I go back? No. Staff are ok, although it was obvious they'd forgotten the chicken dish we'd ordered. They delivered everything else and asked if we were complete and asked about the chicken meal.

We were craving for lobster 🦞 rolls and this is the only place we knew we could get one in Makati.

Honestly, the coffee here is overrated. They advertise siphon coffee as one of their specialities but their staffs know nothing about coffee. They don't even know if their beans are Arabica or Robusta...
I tried Sumiyaki coffee on ice and a hot siphon one and both beans are completely burnt. Sumiyaki one really gives horrible taste. The beans themselves, also contain too much preservatives, that might make a sensitive drinker feels sick. Siphon coffee tastes like boiled water. No after taste.

Did not live up to my expectations as someone who has had lobster rolls in Boston, Las Vegas, and San Francisco this lobster roll has definitely failed. It’s not tender more of rubbery and the flavoring definitely needs improvement. The bun itself should be one of the highlights of this roll, but it also failed on so many levels. So disappointing….I even bought 2 because I was really hoping it would be amazing but it’s not.

They’ve been very supportive to the farmers in the Philippines and all of the organic produce is fresh! Is it a bit pricey for the average Filipino there? Sure! But for those who are traveling and want a really good breakfast experience, I definitely recommend this particular restaurant where the waiters are absolutely nice and the ambiance is peaceful. You can choose to sit inside or out. The eggs Benedict and the avocado toast are amazing! I was a little disappointed with the pancake based off of value/price. It seemed a tad bit pricey for what I got. But everything else was fantastic! The smoothies ARE THE ONES YOU MOST DEFINITELY NEED TO GET! Quite creative and you can have any smoothie based off of your liking! Anyways, pass by here just once for those who are vegan, vegetarian, omnivores, carnivores and everyone! Really worth your time and I hope you guys enjoy it like I did!

Lobster roll is delicious with a fair amount of lobster claws supposedly flown frozen from Maine, just the right amount of butter and sauce, and toasty-soft bread. Pricey but good.
A hearty breakfast followed by siphoned coffee is always best at UCC. Eight Coffee Bar is now a favorite nook for me while in the busy Rockwell area due to its quiet location in the 2nd Level of 8 Rockwell.
I highly recommend this cafe for its quiet and cozy ambience coupled with the ever consistent flavors expected of the UCC brand. Some of my favorites for breakfast are the Native Longganisa and delectable Grilled Cheese Sandwhich!
Will definitely be coming back for more coffee sessions ❤👍🏻

The Lobster Roll is waaaaay heavenly! For Php695 you'd enjoy every bite of it. It's quite pricey BUT this is a treat if you need to feel better about yourself! Haha! I mean it!! The buttery taste of the bread complements the lobster meat so well. So yeah, great feeling after eating..
It fascinates me to watch UCC brew its coffee in beakers. It is unique compared to the metal, smoking, massive coffee machines that many cafes use. Tried its fluffy pancake which UCC introduces for those on keto diet— I love it! And I am not on this diet or any diet at all 😂! The fresh juice I ordered is delicious!
Ambiance is really good and relaxing. Food is worthy of its price. It's a bit costly but still worth your money. The picture attached is what I ordered - Cajun Prawns with Aligue Rice. Super yum!!!

Burger is good and filling but I honestly tasted better burgers in the past. BUT their Onion Rings is probably THE BEST I’ve ever had. It’s crunchy, “fat”, and full of flavors. The fries is also good but eat them while its still fresh.
