We had an absolutely perfect evening here! We did not have a booking, and it was very busy, but they seated us after a short wait (2 people).

There are shared tables, so the atmosphere is vibrant and people are lovely!

The food was excellent. A good range of Swiss dishes, extremely well prepared. The pork was cooked perfectly and their house dessert was extremely tasty, best meringue I've ever had!

Their service is friendly and warm, yet professional. Every server was wonderful and very helpful.

We tried to book in advance but was fully booked so they recommended to try walking in as they do have tables available for that. We came about 9pm in the evening and had to wait 10 minutes before being seated (3 of us). We were provided menus but then the waitress took a long time before she came back to us to take our order (granted she was busy but we had to prompt her we were ready to order). The food came in pretty good time and was served very nicely and huge portions. Food was lovely and was nice to try something traditional.

We come here very often. Beautiful place, friendly and nice staff. And the food? the range of dishes is truly vast and everything is delicious and exquisite, don't forget to taste the Rösti. It's really worth it to go there.

From the moment I stepped into Zeughauskeller, I was impressed by the historical charm and architecture of the place. The restaurant is housed in a beautiful historic building, which adds a unique and authentic touch to the dining experience.

As someone who was in mood for something vegetarian that day, I was pleased to find an excellent selection of vegetarian options on the menu, including the veggie burger that caught my eye. When it arrived at the table, I was delighted to see a well-constructed and appetizing burger. The patty was made with a delicious blend of vegetables, grains, and spices, and it had a satisfying texture that made it a great alternative to the traditional meat burger.

The service was exceptional throughout the meal. The staff was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu, making excellent recommendations and accommodating any special requests. They were quick to refill drinks and check if everything was to my liking, making sure I had a pleasant dining experience.

What impressed me most was the attention to detail in the presentation of the dishes and the overall service. Each dish was plated beautifully, and the staff made sure that I felt comfortable and taken care of from start to finish.

Overall, Zeughauskeller Restaurant in Zurich exceeded my expectations. The great veggie burger, excellent service, and charming ambiance make it a must-visit for both vegetarians and non-vegetarians alike. Whether you're a local or a tourist, this restaurant offers a memorable dining experience with a taste of Swiss history and cuisine. I will definitely be returning the next time I'm in Zurich!

Traditional beer house experience. Perfect for introduction to the Swiss German cuisine. Recommend to come early in case you need to make the line, go with the flow and enjoy the atmosphere.

We were walking around and stumbled on this place. The line was long so we thought I must have been good. The line moved quickly and we were Seated in just a few minutes. The food here was delicious! As a family of four we all ordered something different including an appetizer and tried all of our dishes. Everything was great! Definitely would recommend.

Delicious food for dinner. We ordered veal with mushrooms in delicious creamy sauce and sausages with mashed potatoes. Great atmosphere with armoury decorations and built in 1487. I would highly recommend must go for anyone visiting Zurich.
