IMAX Victoria

Absolutely loved it here. We saw 2 Imax presentations. Both in 3D. I was floored by how good it was. I would highly recommend to anyone that is looking for a easy afternoon at the theatre.

$11 for seniors. 3D glasses were excellent compared to those of 10 years ago. Film was a good documentary on Angkor but 3D effects were not used effectively.

A great movie experience with true 3d movies.my son had never seen anything like it! He was impressed! Good educational flicks about nature.

I had to think if I wished to share this. Superb sound , enormous screen and empty. They show Hollywood movies and all kinds of documentaries . They have the occasional 3 D movie and the effect makes up for the sort of films , super heros etc ,that Hollywood does so well.
It's the combination of great sound , crystal clear video and wide selection that keeps me coming back. So I'm torn, hate to chance it's becoming crowded, need to pay the museum for the quality on display here.

Great 45 minute shows. My daughter loves learning about all the different animals the Imax presents. The yearly pass Makes it so easy to go see a show whenever we have down time.

Disappointed with the image quality, if you can believe that. We saw Angkor and we were both surprised how fuzzy and unclear most of the film was. If indeed they are using their 4k laser projection system for these shows it is woefully insufficient for such a large screen. I think Imax has lost it's way. They were known for having the ultimate cinema experience, but now it is sub-par by any standard. In a world where 8k and 16k cinematography is widely available Imax needs to step up their game.

I find that all the shows they provide, lack in content and are all the same. Personally that is my experience. However, going there to see a Hollywood production that is longer than 45 min. might be more of a value and entertaining.
