Nice location in the park, but very little grass and virtually no shade make it a quick stop.
It’s a fine dog park. It’s free so that’s it’s nicest feature. There is no water source for the dogs so bring your own water.
Dogs and the occasional train. How can you not love this place?
Update 17 April 2023: Where did the awning over the picnic tables go? Sun is brutal without it. Knocking review down several stars until it returns.

Pets Are Home of Kensington, MD takes our pup here in the morning. It's a lovely spot with a great vibe. Lots of room to run.
So glad to have this convenient option. A great neighborhood asset and an effective use of formerly dead space. Kudos to the community for making it happen. It has a fence, space to run and a rain canopy. Definitely not complaining, but it doesn't have water or lights and the surface is gravel which can often ends up in the car and house when its wet out.
The space is nice, but could use more slag filling in wet areas. It's a good opportunity to get your dog off the leash.
Great neighborhood facility with dog cleanup bags, water bowl and lots of tennis balls. Great place to meet fellow dog owners and socialize safely. The lot is good for two cars, but the train station provides more parking with sidewalk access.
