Perfect venue for my 70th!
We had a lovely night in the Atrium Room for my birhtday dinner in November for family and friends. The food and was spectacular (guests raved about the lamb and fish), excellent wine and extra special care was taken of a guest with complex dietary needs. The vegetarians were very well looked after too. Nothing was too much trouble. Perfect service and we appreciated that left overs were boxed up to take home. Thank you Ella and team for a lovely celebration. Very highly recommend.

Recommended for the friendly staff, beautiful blue dining room and tasty steak.

I ordered the crispy pork belly from the special board and the dark beer they had on tap. The guy poured the pint, it had no head and looked flat. I took a sip and asked "is this beer meant to be flat like water"? A guy with a nose ring tested a different tap and said the machine is fine which I asked then why does my beer have the look & texture of black water? He offered to to pour another which I accepted. It came out perfect with a frothy head and I said that's more like it. He just stood there with a blank face no response. When the crispy pork belly came it was delicious but only 3 bite size pieces with some salad. Left hungry annoyed and not coming here again.
Food was good but they had happy hour specials that they didn't honour. It was on the chalk board gang, poor form. Happy to share the receipt if you read these reviews Mr owner
Me and my partner went for lunch today and I need to say it was a disappointment.
We ordered the half chicken as a main, which was supposed to have morels in it but it came out without it. We asked the waiter about the missing item in the dish and he didn’t even know what the item was, so he asked the kitchen for more clarification and he came out 5 minutes later with a ramekin with four slices of morels, cold straight from the fridge and handed it to us with not even a sorry.
The chicken was dry as anything and the sauce was hardly there, and tasteless.
Chips were very under seasoned.
Entrées were nice though.

For those who want to go to a pub but want something fancier. Good food but a bit pricey. The staff were very friendly and gave excellent service. The decor was so on point and the entire environment was nice and tidy.
