Great place for a family get together for meal and cake definitely. The staff are friendly and helpful with prompt tidyup too. We like it.

A convenient club for dropping in for a drink or lunch, etc with friends. Best to book a table. Plenty of parking. If visiting, avoid 7-9am or 2-4pm because it gets very busy on the road outside as it's directly opposite a school.
This is a really cute place with great food and wine choices. T bone steaks were cooked well with lots of sides and app choices. They encourage you not to use your phone though, even taking it and locking it away for you, to encourage being present in your experience I think; some people like that, but I hated it. They let me hold onto mind, just didn't want me to use it in the restaurant.
Had an amazing time with my daughter and father strawberry picking last week. $5 entry fee for adults and children under 5 are free than $11.95kg. We went just before Valentine's Day and they had some many amazing red delicious strawberries 🍓

My friends and I were sitting outside because I had my dog. Even if wasn’t an hot day, was good enough to stay outside thanks to the nice fence. Drinks were good balanced and the dinner was delightful. The service was accurate and fast.
Great experience and place to eat if you love a good steak. It’s t-bone style but the portion is huge for a great price. Had the gnocchi and pecorino with truffle honey to start, was tasty. The side we ordered for the steak was the eggplant Parmesan and it was my personal favorite. Love the concept of phones away from the table and the atmosphere in the restaurant is incredible!

Worst experience ever, it was our Valentine night and we were so hungry, ordered a veg pizza, pizza came with a ton of cheese, since we were so hungry, we had to eat just bread from the pizza. There was nothing in pizza apart from cheese, cheese and cheese. If we wanted cheese pizza then we would have ordered it. Attached leftover cheese photo.

Easy to get last minute noon reservations for lunch time. Their bread and butter was unique, a candle melts the butter. They say phones are not allowed because they want you to enjoy the foodand you're supposed to put it in a box so all these other reviewers with food pictures are breaking rules 😤 They slice the t bone steaks and cook it close to all the tables so you can see them at work which was cool. Got our steak medium rare and it was amazing. Best Florentine style steak I've ever had. Since the cuts are thick, they're harder to cook correctly and are generally more on the rare side so bravo to Bistecca. Highly recommended for a good t bone steak

Like a lot of other steak houses in Sydney they ask you to give them your phone, so you won’t see pictures on reviews here.great steak cut to your preference of size. A pleasant dining experience was married by some poor kitchen flow. We were asked if we wanted our kids meals to come out with the sashimi started and we said yes, but the kids meals came much later than the sashimi. After the kids had finished, we had to wait for a lot longer for our mains and a side of mushrooms which I ordered was forgotten by the kitchen.
The service itself was polite and pleasant, although sometimes difficult to get a hold of.
The good was pretty good, some high points include actual fresh wasabi from Tasmania, and house made tartare sauce, and the steak was done wonderfully. The grilled Murray cod was delicate but a little oversalted. Kids fish and chips were good although they were crumbed instead of battered.

You know when Ken (from Barbie movie) has to go back into his house and yells out "SUBLIME!" Before coming back and acting all cool. That was me on every one of these dishes. I ran out of compliments for those thangs.

My husband and I had our reception here last year. We went for chill, cocktail/canape vibes with dancing later and the events team were amazing in ensuring our vision came to life. We were given plenty of options and ideas for what we could do, we had consistent communication with the events manager and had a number of inspections to ensure the set up was to our liking. On the night, the staff were also very helpful and had a designated person to liaise with our MC for the finer details so we could enjoy our night. We had so many compliments and positive feedback about the staff and the food from our guests and parents (especially the lamb skewers and salt and pepper squid). Highly recommend for a reception/party!

Great pub, music and dancing up stairs. Staff are friendly and helpful. The food was good, hot and plentiful. ( have ti say I have never had chip/fries that crispy, absolutly fab). Would definately recommend the venue for drinks or for eatung. During weekdays the menu lists a dish of the day.
Smallest steak I have ever seen in a pub meal. Sort of grotty, disappointing atmosphere with questionable types, screens everywhere and cigarette smoke stinking the place out from horrible pokies area out the back.

Had a really great time picking strawberries and they were really thick and sweet and great quality. Such a great activity to do with your partner or friend or family. Inside the building they have plenty of great little places inside selling fabulous produce. They have a lovely Cafe and lots of seating areas.
Wandered into this quaint and eclectic venue on a whim... the bill board out the front drew us in!!! With a nautical theme, there's rum a plenty. Some seemingly rare, maintaining the eclectic atmosphere. The staff were wonderful, only too willing to engage and chat about their craft, their product, and merits of nautical life. ⚓️
Really enjoyed our lunch here. Colourful delicious food, served with a smile. We started with the small dishes, bread, homemade chips and dips and the scallops. Our two mains, barramundi beautifully cooked, moist full of flavour and nocchi with olives, soft pillows flavoured by the olives were delicious. Great food and drinks! We had a really nice experience with the young female waiter, she was helpful and welcoming! Unfortunately the guy at the bar- curly hair, glasses, wasn’t friendly or welcoming at all… maybe get a job out of hospitality buddy! Apart from him we had a great experience
Food, BEER, Service and Atmosphere are always on point. $13.50 for the Palace house Beer jug is perfect for guys who want to drink a bit more! Also the food is recommendable! Give it a try and experience yourself.
Great place for Happy Hour or dinner. During our stay in Adelaide we went there two times. For happy our we got margaritas and negroni with some oysters. Next time for dinner we ordered fishes (flathead and cod) from large plates menu and tomato peach salad as a side. Everything was great. Also really nice interior and service which cares about you. Excellent product, quality and taste. After a well known brand of tomato sauce mixture (ingredient) was discontinued for those that make their own, the search was on to find an already made ‘off the shelf’ brand that would compliment our years of making our own. Our winner was Beerenberg tomato sauce. Purchased at our local Supermarket but coming via their family farm in Hahndorf South Australia. The product receives an easy 5 stars from us. Well done to the team and thank you.
Amazing experience! Loved it so much! We got to pick strawberries that were fresh from the garden. I got small jams, sauces an ice cream and a strawberry lip gloss!
We began with prawn toast which was wonderful and Coffin bay oysters which were amazingly prepared and served. For mains we fish n chips, whiting fillets and shoestring fries and a very flavourful tartare sauce and Murray Cod..both beautifully served👏
Went to this pub with friends yesterday for pre dinner drinks. Two of us ordered drinks that were nearly full of ice and hardly any spirit in them. The young guy barman was approached about this and just shrugged his shoulders and couldn't care less. When your paying big money for these drinks you should be expected to get a decent drink and not basically a glass of ice for your money. Left the pub and never to return.

Very cool nautical pirate theme establishment with some incredible drinks. Live music was a great addition. Staff and bartenders were very friendly and I didn't feel rushed to make a decision. Good beer selection too. Highly recommend this as a stop for all Sailors and Pirates alike.

Such a scam this place is. there is this guy on 19/12/23 at 6.30pm, making espresso martini is nightmare. The taste is no good and even though you pay heaps, he prepared the coctail half a glass and when i told this he was just not accepting and giving you excuses. No good. Dont get coctails from here. Go for beer if you have. Dissapointment!! Look at this cocktail!!
Celebrating our wedding anniversary. I found this restaurant, and it doesn't disappoint. Our bill was a whopping $400+ though, but all I can say was well worth it.. we all enjoyed the ambience, and the food also the service were exceptional. We all had a posh dining experience.

The beef was $180 a kilo. To make it sound better the menu says $18 per 100g. Their website doesn't say it's dry aged, for that price it should be dry aged. A Bistecca in Singapore dry ages. Sadly, the only photo that I can show you is the front door which is a fire escape. Inside they took my phone away. It was stressful and controlling. I felt like a sheep being rushed through service, I was first herded to the bar to order drinks and then led to the restaurant table. I felt coerced because even though they don't explicitly make it mandatory I felt pressured. I couldn't take photos of the food or have selfies with friends (one of their gimmicks). I believe a restaurant should trust it's customers and be confident with people taking photos of the food, but alas there are only the glossy manicured photos on their website. The bread dipped in beef candle wax was gimmicky. Gimmicky accurately describes this place. I read on their website afterwards that they only do the steaks medium rare, but I recall the waiter giving options and then glossed over to medium rare. I didn't feel that I had a real choice. The beef was left to rest but I didn't like getting warm meat, I like the meat hot. I felt like I was in a garish hyper Italian restaurant theme park "experience". I wasn't there for an "experience", I was there for a business lunch, which meant it wasn't realistic for me to leave to find somewhere else. I didn't choose the venue and having experienced it I won't return. The gimmicks wore off very quickly. Even the fire escape entrance was gimmicky. Plus the steak being the star of the show didn't have a nice wood fire grill taste even though it was grilled in their open kitchen in full view. I guess I wasn't happy with the "experience" so it affected my appreciation of the food.

This experience could have been so much more enjoyable had they not served such small mains, charged for bread, and opened a second bottle of sparkling water without approval.

Located near Wynyard station, this is an amazing quiet spot for a special dinner. They only serve T-bone steaks but they are amazingly done. You can also order sides and all tasted great. Service and venue was also great (they also make you put your phones away in a draw while eating). One call out is that you need to book a few weeks in advance before you go. Recommended.
We found this place almost by chance online and decided to call in. Oh My Goodness, we had the best steak and veg I think we'd ever eaten ! The atmosphere and service were lovely, but the meal, soooo good. The prices were very reasonable too.
The food was excellent. We were recommended exactly the right amount of food. Everything came out quickly. Food looked and tasted great.
What an amazing place with variety of strawberry options. You may have a chocolate ice cream or dip your strawberry in sweet chocolate. Take their jam to your home if you like sweets in the morning. Even their chips taste different.

Came across this great place while wondering through The Rocks in Sydney. Fantastic atmosphere, drinks, small plates and staff! If you want somewhere with a lot of charm this is it! We will be back! So glad we got caught in the rain and stumbled into The Keel!
Fabulous! Is the word that comes to mind… everything.. drinks, food, atmosphere and the amazing team working. Service was above and beyond. What an amazing little find. So happy we got to experience it… please support these guys.. well deserved and well done. The Grave O Malley is superb.. not your ordinary espresso martini! Went there for my best friend’s birthday & the food was delicious. The experience was made exceptional with our wonderful waiter Rahul. He was so welcoming & accommodating. Would highly recommend.

All dishes were balanced and rich in flavour! Standouts were the crab casarecce nero and lamb ragu pasta - both cooked to Al dente perfection! The Monte Carlo ice cream "sandwich" was just so delightful too; rhubarb sauce was perfect to cut through the sweetness. The grapefruit and Hugo spritz were a perfect way to cleanse the palate! Amazing food guys! Definitely recommend.
We came across this gem tonight. I considered my self a scotch drinker, however Fran introduced me to some spectacular Australian rums that blew my son off. A fabulous bar with a very relaxing ambionce. We will definitely have to return and try the food and some more fabulous rums. Thanks for a great experience. Had a heap of fun with Nathan and Laura who I put into a competition of who could make the best cocktail, it was a tie… Henry also knows how to run a tight ship, thought he was the Manager!

We had an excellent time here. The staff was accommodating and allowed us access to the farm, despite our late arrival near closing time. The strawberries were heavenly in taste. Exploring the mini museum and learning about the farm's history added to our enjoyment. Plus, there was a diverse selection of products available for purchase, perfect for bringing a piece of our visit home.

I love the vibe of this place, the interior is amazing and this bar/restaurant donates 50 percent of profits to charity! The customer service is also 10/10 and the drinks were really nice.
Beautiful location for sunset drinks & snacks before theatre 💞 service was good a bit lacking on menu knowledge when asked. Treated the family to a special tasting of different plates & drinks .

Enter from Klumpp Road, the Sports Bar hides amongst numerous sporting fields and ample parking. The staff are friendly, the pokies section offers a good range, but doesn't encroach on the atmosphere of the rest of the bar. Haven't tried the food yet, but I'll bet that I'll have the opportunity on a return visit.
Had the 2.0 loaded fries, chicken bacon and Mmmm it was good. Service was OK, QR puck at the tables where you scan and it's all done virtually. Picked my food n drink and paid all on the app, super convenient. Atmosphere was nice enough was there during the slow time so not much going on, stayed at the lower level only so was nice and simple.
Got the tasting platter and 2 cocktails as an add on for our hotel booking. When we arrived and give our voucher to the waitress she scoffed and sighed. About 20minutes later she came back and told me I couldn’t have the cocktail I ordered but I could have anything else. I chose something and she said not that either. Eventually I got a cocktail. It wasn’t busy and the service was slow and boarderline rude. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was average.

We were served by Kat who was an absolute star! She was super friendly and made us the tastiest drinks we’ve ever had - we will definitely be coming back! The pasta and pizza was also delicious, such a wonderful night.
Outstanding dishes featuring creative flavour combinations and quality ingredients. The dinner menu is extremely well priced for how much food you get. As a Melbournian, I’ll definitely be coming back on my next trip to Adelaide.
Great beer, food and atmosphere. Has several giant screens to see sports games, sound is a bit loud but it's a pub. Centrally located in a very good and safe area of Sydney Central.
There is not such a thing as a rooftop. The place it’s too crowed at evening and completely empty by night. There is no Australian food as they described and I found a little bit hostil the bartender. The first floor premises are nice and clean and it has windows for street view.

Had an awesome birthday dinner at this top notch restaurant. Scott our waiter was awesome, very friendly, knowledgeable and informative. He explained the dishes and helped us put together a nice choice to share. The food was outstanding, beautifully presented and flavoursome. All the ingredients blended together superbly. And the home made bread was so moorish...yum. Definitely an enjoyable culinary experience. Love to come back again.
A relaxing experience with an old-time feel. I totally loved the environment with its pressed metal ceilings and generally Art Deco decorations. Got myself a cider, garlic bread and potato wedges and just chilled. Perfect if waiting to see a play at the nearby Capitol Theatre.

The Keel is our go to bar in The Rocks. Absolutely fantastic service from Patrick and all the staff. Lots of different seating options from inside to outside. And if you fancy a cocktail that's not on the menu or can't decide what you feel like, ask the staff to make you something based on your tastes. I guarantee you won't be disappointed. Would highly recommend booking in busy times. This place is popular. Can't wait for our next visit
Took a friend for dinner Sunday night. Very busy, but service was still fast and friendly. Food was great, well cooked and well presented. The service team were very helpful. Si... it worked for us!

We had the risotto special with lobster and the fish dish with three types of fish, and finished the meal with a chocolate and cherry ice-cream dessert. All three dishes exceeded our expectations and were excellent. The wine list was also quite good, with a good range of wines at various price points.

Local sports club with a fresh looking interior, bar and restaurant. Menu prices decently cheap for the servings. Pleasant view of the oval from the eating area. Prompt, friendly service.
Nice selection of beers, wines and spirits and a very nice vibe here. Definitely the place to unwind after work and meet friends for a sundowner.
Really loved this place, everything was great. Staff were positive relaxed and knowledgeable. Food, unbelievable. Had the scallop, very tasty, light smoky paprika flavours with the butter went really well, had to lick the shell clean after. The torched prawn and watermelon combo was so delicate and fresh, finished off with the pan fried gnocchi dish, probably the best gnocchi I've had. The favourite dish was the scallop. Will be back to have the chicken next time with desert, skipped desert as we were satisfied (full). Thanks Herringbone!

Booking: When booking, there was an option to select any special occasion. I selected “anniversary” and explained that it would be our 5th year marriage anniversary celebration at Chianti. However, when getting there, there was absolutely nothing extra (flowers, champagne, or a special cake). I would gladly pay for any extra service, but why put an option in the booking if you are not doing anything different for the guests regardless if there is a special occasion or not?
Staff: extremely friendly and always asking if the food was good or if we needed anything else. Enough to make us feel cared about, but at the same time not too much to annoy us. I was more than happy to tip him 10% for the exceptional service. My glass was always full, so that’s a plus.
Food: the quantity was just enough to satisfy me, but not enough to feel completely full. In my point of view, it is the perfect amount. Ingredients and quality are beyond words. Everything we ordered was perfectly cooked. There was nothing that we felt like “meh or could have been better”.
Service: 10 points just for having a sharpened knife. I’ve been to places where the knife could not even cut butter… also, the timing between plates was perfect. Not to soon so we could appreciate the food we just ate between plates, but not too long either to make us feel impatient.
Value: it is not cheap if you considered amount of food VS price. However the quality of the food and the friendly staff makes you feel that it was worth every single cent.
Overall, it is a great Italian cuisine choice. Would definitely recommend for a romantic dinner or for business

Recently renovated to give an uplifted look. Great food and have kids' meals. The staff are friendly.
The place has an old pub charm with dark wood paneling and seating that feels rustic and comforting. The staff were kind and attentive with no issues with ordering. I ordered a rump steak, medium rare with mushroom gravy and the salad. The steak was juicy but would be better classified as medium well. It lacked seasoning and lacked charring for that preferred grilled taste. The gravy was a little too thick and tasted store bought. It overpowered the steak but paired a little better with the fries. The salad was fresh and light which didn't need much help with seasoning as the light dressing was subtle and tangy.
Overall it is a nice place to sit with friends and have a drink and a bite but I'll be trying something different from their menu next time around
