Best bar in all of Lowell. The bartenders are always super friendly even when busy. They have their own ipa which is solid. Overall cool place with lots of history.

Great staff, vibrant atmosphere, and everything they serve is high-quality. A staple in Lowell

The Worthen House does not provide free water to its patrons. The servers are rude. I understand they (the servers) have bad days but we all do. One goes out to find relief from a tough day, not to continue one. I spoke to the owner about the horrible service and was trespassed from the establishment. Avoid the Worthen, the edifice deserves better. Feel free to return when the establishment is called "Jack's Old Haunt."

Didn't know what to expect but all expectations were exceeded. Just a great little divey bar oozing with history, friendly locals and seemingly regular patrons provide the requisite background chatter and banter you'd want in a bar like this. Good food as well. 0 complaints, will come again.

A great spot for some delicious food. We stopped in with my in-laws and we all enjoyed our meals. Great atmosphere, can't wait to visit again.

If you're a fan of dive places this is definitely for you. Plus the history angle had me romanticized about past patrons and stories of working in the nearby mills.
The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful too. I ate the mozzarella sticks and they blew me away. A+.
In the evening there was music upstairs in "The Attic" and everyone was in good spirits.
Honestly I'd go back to try more food.

So strange that this place puts out good food. The kitchen is about 10 square feet but the food is really good. Burgers and sandwiches are tasty. Old school bar with I think the only place in the country with belt driven ceiling fans. Also cold beer and jello shots!
