Observatory Hill Lookout

This place is good for sit and day dream. It is a great spot to view the sunset. You may see some people come here to shoot their wedding photos or family photos. It not far away from 'The rock'. But it may a bit crowded during evening.

Went there just after sunset which is really great, but if you love sunset and sunrise pictures, it is recommended to go there during these times.
The place is really good for taking pictures of Sydney from the lookout hill. Night scenes are just as amazing as day scenes, so whatever your taste is, day, night, sunrise, sunset, there are fantastic scenes for taking pictures and selfies.
For those who like photography, this is a really good and interesting place to visit.
Otherwise, if you like the scene away from the city and noise, come to a quiet place after a day of work, play or study and enjoy the views. It may be a bit crowded on Friday and Saturday evenings, but a trip with some friends or family would be lovely.

Nice place to look for sunset. Very crowded be sure to save your spot fast.

Must-do for all Dancers that loved "Dance Academy" in their younger years as many scenes had been filmed their! Quiet place with an amazing view for sunrise!

Views from this spot are incredible. Only annoying thing (for me anyway) was there were a crazy number of wedding shoots going on up here..! Must have seen like 6 couples having shoots. In fairness it was a Friday afternoon but I guess if you hit the right times, it can be really peaceful and idyllic.

Just a few minutes walk from The Rocks or Circular Quay. The view is amazing, it is never too crowded. Came across wedding photoshoot a couple times.
Observatory lookout, benches or grass to sit, relax and enjoy the view.
