Committee For Helping Others

My fiancé and I have recently fallen on hard time and reached out to the committee for extra help. We left a voicemail around 11am and received a call back about an hour later. The team was amazing at getting us what we needed! So respectful, helpful, and efficient! Thanks so much for your help and great efficiency!

I would like to graciously thank the CHO foundation for their help, love, and support in helping me obtain a second chance at a productive life. I was helped by an amazing young woman who will remain anonymous (she knows who she is) as I was helped we talked on the phone while completing my application for assistance and we had so much in common that I felt i was truly understood and empathized with and I didn't feel alone anymore, so I would like to personally thank you Ma'am for being there for me and believing I am capable of a comeback. I love you all and your work is valued and needed ❤️ 💕

Being a single mother who was hit with unemployment and car accident where i felt like i have absolutely lost everything and was not able to pay my rent I was trapped. I felt like I couldn’t do anything for my kid or for me. until I remembered about this organization who helped me in the past for food for my kid and I and I just knew that I needed to reach out. Not only did they comforted me they were so nice and helpful. CHO is a blessing from God. They responded immediately and were able to provide me with financial relief for my rent. In these days of unfortunate events I’m grateful that this organization is here to help others. God bless them. They’re most kind and helpful. I’m happy to have reached out to this organization. Now I feel more relieved about the day and the tomorrow

I have the benefit of partnering with CHO in striving to help my community who sometimes, for a myriad of reasons, need assistance with fin’l burdens they cannot meet, food insecurity issues, needed professional attire or winter coats for a harsh incoming season, furniture, trans’n, etc. As an Intake Adv’t, I greet each day on-call with a compass’t heart and a set intent to do my best.

There's a new racist volunteer who recently joined this organization. If you are black, hispanic or asian, she wants you to jump through hoops like an animal in a circus in order to receive finances that were donated by Christian institutions, for those sole purpose of those in the community who need it most. How shameful and sad that professing christians assemblies have deligated such responsibilities and honor of physically interaction with the downtroddened and discouraged soul because they'd rather not deal eith the less desirables, to that of pagan and worldly organizations, who are known for there hateful spirits. Unfortunately, many Christian organizations forfeit unique opportunities to share the love of Christ and the Good News of the Gospel with these struggling souls because they themselves arecof the world, having never experienced the "New Birth" according to John 3-3-7.

IF YOU DONT HAVE THE LOVE OF CHRIST IN YOUR HEART, IT'S NOT ONLY DISHONORABLE, BUT BLASPHEMOUS TO ATTEMPT TO SHOW THE LOVE OF A HOLY GOD THROUGH YOUR UNREGENRATE HEART.

This is a charity that has been around since 1969 they help with food clothes and furniture as well as emergency financial help. I wish there were more places like this locally. Especially we live in a world a country and area that under pays the working class and overcharges them .
