Great tour! Great exhibit of enslaved peoples' cabins, and they are doing a much better job of honoring the enslaved people who built that plantation and worked the land! We did not eat there.

Good:

- the mint ice tea
- service
- food
- dessert buttermilk pie and the pecan pie
- the place
- the souvenir shop accept Apple Pay
- diaper Changing table for toddler/baby.

Less good

- merchandising. I think they could add better product in their shop.

The food is not amazing, but that’s not the place where you expect to get this. I think for the price, the quality match.

The poboy was very good, the gumbo was just ok. Overall we had a positive experience here this time. We tried to eat here last year when we visited, but because we were part of a tour group they refused to seat us. We understand now because the kitchen and service is a bit slow. If you do not have at least 1 hour to spend here I would find a different option as they will not do carry out at all.

The only restaurant you have to stop by for a tour of the Oak Valley sugarcane farm. The food was soso and the service was soso. On the other hand, Gift Shop had a lot of fun things to see. What I felt here was observing the servers. It was clear that there was a server that worked hard and a server that only did hip service. I only give them three stars in the hope that they won't be spoiled anymore.

We decided to shop and then have a snack after our plantation tour. The fried green tomatoes topped with crawfish tails and sauce was over the top with flavor. The mint tea was not overly sweet and so refreshing. Light batter but seasoned very well. The waitress was lovely

Visited on a Wednesday afternoon after our tour of Whitney Plantation nearby. Seated right away (for 2) and ordered the Fried Green Tomato BLT with Wedge Fries and the Fried Chicken Cheese Pasta - everything was SO delicious! We also got the sampler of Juleps (Classic Mint, Lemon, and Frozen Raspberry). We liked the Raspberry one best!

Service was quick and friendly. Would recommend if you're in the area touring plantations and need a quick bite.

Quick bite after walking around the plantation. Pricey but it is good food. I had the pasta with chicken ( chicken was kinda weird tasting but the pasta was delicious! We tried their bourbon pecan pies, my husband enjoyed it. Not much to my liking. He had the fish platter that he enjoyed. 9/10 would recommend
