Cooking with Culture

My first time at Vecchia’s was for the Italian Christmas Cocktails class as part of their Cooking and Culture series. I went with my boyfriend unsure of what to expect. I grew up with a large Italian family in the NY/NJ area, so I’m always picky about Italian food, but I thought I’d give it a try since it was a cocktail class. As soon as we walked in I knew it would be a good night. The atmosphere was so fun and friendly. I enjoyed learning the history and culture behind each of the cocktails as well as the sampling! In addition to the cocktails, we also were given a plate of food and some Italian Christmas cookies. Everything was delicious and it was clear that it was made fresh! Guliana, Chef Bernard, and his wife Brianna made the evening feel like an evening spent with old friends. Additionally, they did an excellent job of following CDC guidelines and taking the proper precautions. Every party was at least 6ft apart, hand sanitizer was readily available, and the staff all wore masks when serving. Looking forward to another visit!

We were lucky enough to spend the evening attending a ‘Cooking with Culture’ class. It was excellent! Great food, beverages and conversation.

What a great class! My 10-yr old nephew really enjoys hands-on cooking classes and this one was a hit!! We took what we learned and our pasta dough from the class and spent Sunday afternoon making tortellis and pasta! A great way to spend quality time together!

Cooking With Culture is a unique experience combing the love of cooking and the wonders of the Italian culture. Giuliana and Benard bring Italy to YOU without the need of a passport! Safe, fun and so informative. Cooking classes, wine dinners and date night events round out the schedule. Not to be missed! 😍

Excellent time.

I have attended two classes with Cooking with Culture and have LOVED them both. One was a hands-on pasta making class and the last one was a demo class. Both were great! Giuliana and Bernard are wonderful and make the class extremely fun. I can’t wait to attend more classes.
