"We do the opposite of CVS" is the best mantra. Prompt and communicative.

Consistently find the best value and quality produce, milk, chicken breasts... of all the big stores and their weekly promotions always seem to have better options and prices that my family likes. Kalorama rd location has really great customer service too! I switched here specifically for the pharmacy and even with their mostly new staff, I think they are far better than Walgreens.

Usually they are fine but I received a notification from CVS (not even Harris Teeter!) that a medication I've taken has been recalled. Harris Teeter (which filled the prescription for me a few months ago) did NOT notify me and when I called, was absolutely clueless about it and apparently doesn't keep records on the lot numbers. Luckily I haven't had any issues with this but YIKES. The incompetence.

Multiple times a doctor (different doctors) have called in medications for me only to be told it was never received at this Harris teeter pharmacy. Giving up and using a different one now.

Anything stronger than cough syrup confuses and scares the staff here. If you need a life-saving medication filled, use an actual pharmacy.

Better than the nearby Safeway pharmacy on Columbia Rd, but still completely overwhelmed by Covid. It’s been a year and they haven’t figured out how to give accurate time estimates while understaffed. Today I called in and they told me my medicine would be ready in 30 minutes. I came in 30 minutes later and they told me my medicine would be ready in 30 minutes.

I regularly get text notifications from the pharmacy telling me that my prescriptions are ready but when I get there they tell me that I have to wait for them to prepare my medicine.
