I had a great time at this please. Inexpensive and not crowded. I played solo on a day after a rain, and there were number of puddles on the cart path. Other than that, it was ok.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The course has a lot of potential. Great place for a beginner player to learn. But learn golf ediquitte first. Played behind a group that had a new player with a 54 handicap. The rest of their group had finished 18 and we were still in #6 behind this group. We skipped two holes and finished the back nine in about an hour and 15 minutes. Wish the ranger had been out and about.
The course is set in a neat location with some hills and flat areas. The greens had plenty of grass , could have been cut closer to speed up the roll. All in all I enjoyed my outing and would play here again.

Pleasantly surprised. Great place for a municipal city course. Very well run. A few things out of sorts on the course but all in all very impressed, especially with the greens... they were very well maintained. Course is neither too short or too long, and there was enough variety to keep things interesting. Will be coming back no doubt.

Pace was terribly slow for twilight . We started 540pm and barely got 8 holes in before 745 cart return by the Marshall. Course was poor at best. Go to clifton instead

Very poor playing conditions cart paths are in very poor condition grass in the fairways are high enough that the balls are hard to find. The course looks like at one time may have been great Staff was friendly which makes up the difference

I had not played Forest Park in over 10 yrs and I was pleasantly surprised by the the changes to the course. The greens could've been cut and rolled to improve the pace but this does not take away from the overall experience which was excellent. More importantly the pro shop and food services was fantastic for our group of 16 golfers. Member of the Tri-State Hackers.
