The Christmas Capital of Texas did not disappoint! So much to see and do. Get your walking shoes on and take a stroll down Main street to experience unique photo ops, quaint shops, top notch restaurants, wineries, coffee shops, ice cream shops and more than you can imagine! We experienced the Historic downtown during the daytime and evening. I have to say that it is worth it to stick around until dark to see the town light up in its full glory. I would equate this to being in a Hallmark movie. Everything is picture perfect, people are friendly and happy, and it is a place that is difficult to leave at the end of the day.
We heard that Grapevine was the best town for Christmas decorations and events. There were no less than 2l0000 people packed in to visit and see the light show. If you have kids it's great as they have areas specific to children including rides and photo opportunities but too many people and long lines so we would not go back.
Best place to feel the Christmas spirit in the DFW area. We took the train from downtown Fort Worth to grapevine, and it was super cool, beautiful ride, comfortable, and very clean train. And it stops in thar heart of everything. Right on the hotel. Love it. Everyone should be make that ride at least once. My kids loves the train.
This place is the “it” town for Christmas decor! It is DECKED out!!! It can get crowded but it’s a blast with so much to do. Plenty of shops for knick knacks, food, candles, clothes.. you name it. I come for the Christmas decor every year and each year it gets bigger with more things!
I love visiting grapevine for Christmas it is called Christmas Capital of Texas all is beautiful you can take a Walk on Main Street and take pictures and it is free there are others activities for a cost like rides, ice skating and others
Gone there for Christmas lights. Not sure about parking near by.
Cool area to checkout. I think stockyards is cooler but still nice area to check out
