Had best experience in Tesco today. A lovely man called Steven helped me out in finding the biscuit aisle. Have to say his snow enrobed oreo packing skills are unmatched.

they cheat with the prices of one price on the shelves and another when you pay at the cash register
Absolutely ridiculous behaviour from the assistant at the customer service ( checkout at the entrance) today in Tesco in Golden Island around 12am.
I've never met more unpleasant, difficult and awkward person that works with customer.
I did not have my club card with me and I've asked if my phone number would be enough to transit the card details, she said no, I understand. Next I asked if I can sign up for new one she also said no. I decided to leave and see if I have card in the car. I've met a friend outside Tesco and she said I could use her club card. This assistant said its against the law and policies!!!! My friend said ok I'll buy it and I'll use my club card in that case, assistant threatened that she HAS TO WARN the other cashiers and she can't let us buy those items!!! We ignored her and just did the transaction, she came back and tried to explain herself but at this point she crossed the line I told her we no longer need her assistance. She treated us as some criminals. Absolutely disgraceful behaviour. Won't be coming back unless hear some apologies.

Poor shop and bad customer service. Unfortunately a lot of Tesco stores are similar. There must be a lot of internal turmoil with this retailer as so many of their stores are poorly managed and the workers are usually miserable and lack personality.
Large store with great variety of produces and other businesses and facilities, a very popular shopping area within walking distance off the main street of Athlone town open until ten pm excellently lit safe large carpark and great footpath lighting to main street etc.
Was disappointed in the fred and flo baby lotion which was advertised as hypoallergenic. It is not as it had parfum in it. After 2 hours I started to get a reaction
