No slots available forever, extremely hard to get an appointment!!

Staff is as Dutch as can be: COLD. Felt unwelcomed, service was non existent. Complaining she wants to close her desk and go home. Staff urgently needs more training on costumer service and engagement.

Tip: if you represent your country abroad, I'd suggest selecting the right candidate for the job and act as an ambassador for the country you represent. The lady that assisted me, lacks skills with a poor condescending attitude. As a Proud Dutchy, I am ashamed. Suggest you provide training or increase her pay as she's clearly unsatisfied.

It's very difficult to get an appointment. I literally had my computer on the appointments website and refreshed it a couple of times a day and after a few weeks all of a sudden 5 appointments came up. I did not hesitate and quickly choose one of them. After that getting all paperwork ready making sure u make copy's of all of them to take with u.
I learned one thing as if you have a deed poll of a name change done here in the UK the Dutch embassy does not recognise this and you will have to apply for it at a Dutch Court.
Other then that the appointment itself was very easy and quickly done.

The person on call is so rude. I asked them for their working hours and they said “they’ve normal working hours”
Then i asked them to help with my visa error and they didn’t bother to hear the urgency of my issue and just kept repeatedly told me to write an email by constantly getting irritated and sighing at me.
I wish i could give a zero star here.

If the employee is an Asian looking lady, turn back around and run away.

A few days ago I had an appointment and everything went well, until it was my turn and I went to the specified area to meet with this lady. She immediately looked at me with disgust in her eyes and contempt in her voice.

When you tell her certain documents were not brought as it was not mentioned in the list, she starts asking for even more documents that have nothing to do with the application at hand. Word for word, she then said "Oh let me guess, you also didn't bring it because it also wasn't in the list!"

You don't want to be dealing with someone as unprofessional, rude, and arrogant as this person.

Let me state that the Embassy and every other official is extremely pleasant to deal with, all of my previous interactions with this lady's colleagues were more than pleasant. This was the only time where I felt genuinely disgusted with the interaction I had experienced.

It would behoove the embassy to remove this specific official from their position, as it is clear they are unfit for the job.

5 stars for the embassy, negative 2 stars for the employee in question.

I have only had access to a uk passport, and wonder if I was ever issued others including a Dutch one as I would like to leave the United Kingdom eventually, I will be submitting a freedom of information request and possibly visiting also !!!
