Angaara

Located just near Indian groceries store Living India. Its a great plan to do the shopping and dine at Angaara.
To my surprise it was very much crowded but staff is very humble and professional and we hot the table in couple of minutes. They have a huge dinning area and staff headcount is equally high to manage high customer footfall.
Food was good and we dont regrest dinning there.
Recommended.

Great food and great atmosphere

but 1 waitress in black with ipad who were taking our orders nearly ruined our night, she was really rude to us, i almost felt like she wanted to argue with us just to ruin our big night on purpose.

But after that Aman took over our table and she gave us best customer service.

Went on Wednesday. Ordered chicken noodles and goat curry with naans. Noodles are taste less. First time I experienced bad noodles in Melbourne in my 7 years time. Goat curry is also not at all good and too much of colour. I will avoid this place for sure.

I ordered takeaway Punjabi butter chicken and 4 naans that all are burned. Chicken was old not freshly cooked. Yes gravy was delicious. I want to call at restaurant regarding this issue but last time I had issue with order they didn’t solve.

Went on a public holiday..
It was flooded with people but a waiter showed us to our table with minimal wait time.

Customer service is on to the mark.. : 5/5
Food was good we ordered soup, Noodles, dal makhani and chap butter masala.
It seemed like there was too much of food colour. And salt was bit much in the noodles.
And may be suggestion , it would be great if you added pulled chicken or small pieces of chicken in soup.
It tastes good like that.(your big pieces of chicken have no taste and spoils the mood before eating any other item.)
Ohh yes.. forgot about their masala soda..
That was the thing I would definitely come back for..

It was the third time we received terrible quality naan that was not up to standard, the food was chilled even though I arrived for pickup, and the naan were not cooked properly to consume, it was hard like rock. I will not recommend it again. It was a huge waste of time and money.

Ambience : loved the ambience
Service : I think we got good service especially with the kind of crowd they get.I know some reviewers have had a negative experience but mine was good on this day

Now for the why we went there ,the food ..here is what we ordered and what we thought about it

Full Tandoori chicken : was just ok.I have honestly had better and more juicer Tandoor chicken. I would give it a 3 on 5

Garlic Naan : Loved these ,they were soft and buttery ..5 on5

Butter chicken : Took the one that was dialled down on spice for the kids and this was really good .Love the flavour and spice levels were just right .. 5 on 5

Laal Maas : have never ordered this before in any restaurant but decide to try it this time and it DID NOT disappoint . If you like spicy food this is one to order and it tastes great too. Now am not sure if they can always do the great job with this dish as they did when I went but for my visit this is a 5 on 5

Chicken 65 biryani : Now this one was hilarious and the prime reason for my 3 stars…I have had chicken 65 biryani in I don’t know how many places so I know what 65 biryani tastes like .This one tasted like a Chinese fried rice ..even had spring onions in it . It was clear it had Chinese sauces in it and the chicken was not coated in a 65 coating..when ai approached the person serving she insisted that it was how they make 65 and gave me some rubbish about Indo something …It was my wife’s birthday so I did not want to spoil the experience with an argument with the staff so I let it go but I would love to see your review if you have ordered chicken 65 with these people and it did not look like what’s in my pic

Overall I would visit again but not order their Biryani at all .This review is worthy of half a star more but cause that’s not an option I will leave at 3
