Great hole in the wall for takeaways. Best biryani in Sydney, my pakistani husband agrees. Best bread pudding under the counter and amazing apricot dessert. So underrated, this is a great restaurant.
They provide fine dine option. Hyderabadi style biriyani is very good. Chicken 65 is a must try.

Unfortunately Pista House Lakemba needs to be rebranded to 'CASH ONLY Pista House Lakemba' to probably warn people coming.
Biryani was good, but the cash only thing is a mandatory 3 star deduction. If you pass on the inconvenience of cash to me, the food leaves a bitter aftertaste.

The restaurant's food is undeniably fabulous and packed with delectable flavors. Its strategic location around the corner and visible to everyone is a plus. However, the interior can feel a bit congested compared to larger establishments like Harris Park and Wentworthville. In the past, the slow service and excessive wait times left a negative impression, with the staff making diners feel ignored, especially when calling for attention. But my recent visit was a game-changer. The introduction of new menu items and improved service made all the difference. Now, the staff serves food promptly with a smile, offering excellent customer service. Just remember to bring cash, as they only accept payment in cash and suggest withdrawing from the nearby ATM. Despite the previous drawbacks, the recent changes have elevated this restaurant to a must-try spot! ๐ฝ๏ธ๐ฏ
Biryani n irani chai was the best..loved it
There is bad smell from the oil they used and lot of oil under the rice only top layer of plate looks alright but under the rice we found oil tank and that smells and customer service is worst the guy had worst attitude and behaviour we are 6 people never recommend this place ๐๐ we cant risk our health
The best Biryani I've ever had in the North. A must try to get the authentic taste of thali and Biryanis.
