Kumo Sushi

I ordered Uber Eats from this restaurant tonight on a whim and was very impressed! I am a vegetarian, so I ordered the vegetable gyoza and 3 roll combo with the vegetable roll, sweet potato roll, and peanut avocado roll. The gyoza were the best vegetable dumplings that I have ever had and the sauce paired very well with them. Also, all 3 rolls I got were great as well. The sweet potato roll was actually tempura sweet potato which is even better in my opinion, especially because the tempura was still crispy even though I ordered delivery. Also, the peanut avocado roll was a combination I've never had before and it was great and very flavorful! I will definitely be ordering from here again!

Finally we found great sushi restaurants in flushing! There’s so many sushi restaurants in flushing but disappointed most times. But this tiny restaurant (nothing fancy) totally satisfied with foods & services!
And prices are very reasonable too! We will definitely going back to Kumo.
They opened 9 months ago & hopefully they do great business in town. 😁👍

A cozy, quiet (and clean!) little restaurant. Sushi was lovely and my wife's dish was great as well, couldn't help steal some bites! Great service, extremely accommodating and kind. Fast service, fair prices; we had wonderful time.

I was able to enjoy a quiet intimate lunch at kumo with a friend. If you are looking for a well kept sushi spot in the neighborhood, Kumo is it!

Little kid that took my order was not friendly at all. I showed him that in their menu for the dinner boxes it says it comes with soup and salad but he said that it’s probably a mistake. Did not apologize for typo in the menu, shrugged his shoulders at me and went on to play with his phone. Food was ok but service was horrible.

I must say, when it comes to sushi. This place is always the spot. The food is delicious !! I bring my wife, my family and friends here. I love the atmosphere; it’s calming, soft tunes, lowkey. Where you can have conversation and bond with people. The customer service is great, Sydney is the host / waitress that takes care of us. Very sweet, lovely smiley, and is always in a great mood. Highly recommend the dancing dragon roll !!

The sashimi is good, fresh and soft. The hamachi kana is also good. Avoid the sushi rolls and miso - I didn't like the flavor on these.
