Baan Thai Restaurant

I ordered take-out just before they closed. The staff was so sweet as I rushed in to pick up just before they locked the doors. I honestly had never been before, and the feel of the restaurant was beautiful. The next time we are planning on eating an earlier supper, they will be on our list for sure. All the food we ordered was wonderful. I can't wait to try more dishes. Thank you again, and sorry for rushing in at the last minute. ❤️

My recent visit to Baan Thai for lunch was an absolute delight.
It was my first time at this charming restaurant, and I was pleasantly surprised. The menu boasted a wide variety of vegetarian options too! I was impressed by the cleanliness and the lovely décor that created a warm and inviting atmosphere. The restaurant's ambiance was a harmonious blend of traditional Thai elements and modern comfort. However, the highlight was the food itself - it was excellent! We ordered the Pad Peanut and Thai Basil Eggplant Stir Frys and Thai Iced Tea. Every single item surpassed my expectations.
I highly recommend Baan Thai to anyone looking for a fantastic dining experience!

The food was good generally, large portions for the main dishes. The sweet and sour stir fry was too sweet, I felt I had a desert.
The appetizers were too small and too expensive for that amount, yet they were tasty.
The service was very good. Very nice staff.

Absolute hidden gem!! We were looking for a new Thai spot (since our usual was closed for lunch), and we were not disappointed!! The food was fantastic. We ordered rice rolls, the massaman curry (vegetarian), and a crispy noodle dish... all of which we would 100% order again. The massaman in particular was even better than our regular place. There were lots of vegetables, and you could tell they were fresh. The restaurant was super clean, and we loved the interior design. Staff was super kind, and the food came out pretty quick. With the convenience of this location, we will be back soon!!!

Definitely one of the best places to eat in Winnipeg. Every dish we've tried has been delicious, fresh, and full of flavour. The atmosphere is quiet and inviting and the whole place is very clean. The employees have all been genuinely eager to make sure that we enjoy our time there. We have brought many people along with us at different times and all have really enjoyed it. Their takeout is equally good too! Portions are always generous as well.

Best Thai place I have had so far in Winnipeg. Two main dishes and a soda came to $43. Portions were great and flavorful (satisfied not stuffed, quality over quantity). The server was friendly, attentive but not intrusive. 100% recommend.

We met another couple at Baan Thai Restaurant for dinner this past Friday evening. The experience was AMAZING! First, the restaurant atmosphere is very, very nice. Clean, modern, comfortable and inviting. Every single dish that we tasted was delicious, flavourful, and fresh. By far this was the best Thai food that we have ever had. The service and the speed of how quickly the food arrived at our table was second to none as well. We will absolutely be back again, and again to this amazing restaurant.
