Spring Roll Chalet

Whitewashed Vietnamese cuisine. I found it very ordinary and plain. No exotic flavours or fancy tripe and tendon available here. The spring rolls were mostly carrots and wrapper. The amount of chicken in my meal was laughable, I expected a lot more for $16 before tip. Will not be returning and I don't recommend it to anyone with tastebuds of looking for value.

Was busy when we arrived for lunch and there was only one staff in the front which I assume was the boss. Had to pick up our own menus and order at the front. Tea didn’t arrive till asked after food arrived. Great food for cold weather for sure. Pho soup was delicious. Wished boss owner had more help because it was messy to watch him juggle from the front and back to the kitchen.

Great little restaurant. Quaint, seems to be owned and run by a single couple who greet me with a friendly smile every time I come in. They've even stayed open a little longer so I could enjoy one of my favorite meals after work, and always show their appreciation for me as a customer. In fact, they're as welcoming as my own family is when I come over for family dinners. The food is excellent. I always get the house special (stir fry on crispy egg noodles) because it's so delicious.

Stopped by for a quick lunch and was pleasantly surprised. They originally took my wrong order but it was my fault and they corrected it with no issues even with the 4 dollar price difference.
The food was very tasty, the place was very clean and had a great atmosphere for the lunch time crowd. Definitely coming back if I’m ever in downtown Calgary.

I got the number 6 soup and it was amazing! It was exactly what I needed on a cold and rainy day.
