Lotus Vietnamese Noodle House

Ordered egg noodle. Bowl was full of liquid soup that disappointed me. 70% of the bowl was water and very less noodle which I did not tasted like egg noodle. I just ate it as i was hungry but would definitely not recommend. I’ll give another try if they can refund me for my last order.

The food had excellent taste and staff were attentive, my family enjoyed it. The ambience was not really up to date though but I think people are more concerned about the food than the ambience, nevertheless, they could use a little update😁

Reviews for here look scary. I agree that the overall ambiance is seriously lacking. It looks like some smoky dungeon for sure. I have problems with cleanliness too but I did not dine in but ordered a chicken sate sub. I was asked to wait ten minutes which I though bit longer than usual but three sets of people were dining in, so that’s okay.
When I got my food, it felt hefty. When I opened to eat it, there was generous amount of delicious chicken sate and I am happy about my first experience. I hope to try them again!

My wife who is an extremely picky eater and has a penchant for excellence ate here with her mother and absolutely loved the food and adored the service. She mentioned that the waitress was extremely personable and open. She (my wife) is currently pregnant and her senses are acutely sensitive to pungent stimuli, especially: odours, atmospheres, and flavours right now. Nothing about this place was revolting to her in fact quite the opposite. The food items eaten were the vermicelli and spring rolls. The spring rolls were not at all greasy and instead light and crispy - they were exceptional.

Spring rolls were good but could have used a normal amount of fish sauce considering the price of the rolls. Their Lemon Grass chicken on rice is gross and more like a soup. The bottom was pure liquid and the chicken had zero flavouring plus it was grey looking. I had 2 bites and couldn’t eat anymore it was so plain and to be honest just gross. Will not be ordering from here again unfortunately.

They were once on the paper and famous for their satay pho. Came for that 4 years ago and it was fantastic.

Now…It’s salty Tom’s of msg and the customer service was awful.

We felt like we an inconvenience to them by coming to the restaurant with no parking.

Now that can’t even make proper pho let alone satay.

The only thing good was the fried shrimp.
