China chopsticks is a great place for an at home family diner. The food is amazing and there are many options to choose from. I think everyone should definitely try this restaurant out.

A hidden basement Japanese restaurant that looks outdated and quite a bit of odd smell upon entering but food was extremely satisfying to consider that the prices of the food menu is decent and affordable.
Great tasting food. Lots of variety and large quantity for the price. The atmosphere is nice as well as it is located in the Covent Garden Market. You can sit upstairs and enjoy the view.
This was the most disgusting Yakisoba I have ever eaten in my entire life. The noodles were like packaged ramen, super bland, and the chicken had loads of cartilage and other chewy and crunchy bits and was slimy and fatty. I complained and told them how bad it was and they still made me pay! NEVER AGAIN!!

Went here for dinner with some friends and it was a lovely experience. I ordered the beef udon and the udon was yummy, cooked to the perfect consistency. The broth was rich and tasty and the only thing that was less than perfect was the beef. The beef was a bit tough to chew through and in comparison to the rest of my meal, it tasted quite bland.
Our server was very friendly and she constantly checked in on my table to make sure we were okay. My food arrived in a good amount of time and I was in a group of 7.
This will definitely be a restaurant I will visit again!

The pad thai was complete bland. It was cold, hard and the portion? it was very small for $10 . One of the worst pad thai I tried.

The samosas were incredibly fresh and tasty. I ordered the roti separately to enjoy the sauce and the juicy pieces of chicken and potatoes.
It's quite a meal, and two people can enjoy this easily. You might wish to order another roti or rice.

Just ordered chicken green curry... I hardly find chicken from it. Mostly onion! 90% Onion, 5% chicken 5% is other veggies and the sauce. It looks like we got onion green curry not chicken.
I would not eat here again. I ordered to meals for $16 each and I did not get a $16 value. Also the order did not come with napkins, sauces, or forks.
I would not recommend giving this establishment your money. I think WU JI XI'AN FOODS is a much better alternative and it's right across the street.

The food is yummy and the staff are very friendly. One of my children’s favourites.
My daughter in Florida surprised me with an order of delicious foods; Shephard pies, salmon, ribs, roasted vegetables, little potatoes and more. Everything was seasoned to perfection and delicious! Much better than flowers.
Our delivery experience from Mother India in Toronto was a flavorful journey through Indian cuisine. The butter chicken and lamb tikka were highlights, packed with rich, authentic taste. The portions were generous, and the careful packaging ensured the dishes arrived in excellent condition, maintaining their delicious flavours.
While the main dishes were a triumph, the garlic naan fell short of expectations, lacking the desired garlic intensity and tasting somewhat bland. On a positive note, the side rice portion was large. The overall delivery service was efficient and timely. Despite the minor setback with the naan, we had a delightful Indian dining experience in the comfort of our home.

I had lamb vindaloo roti. The sauce was perfectly tangy. The vegetarian samosas I ordered for take out were large and filling. I will order again to go from there, and the service was friendly.

Small portion, bad taste. There is nothing good about this place. Fried items are full of fried batter, hardly of any meat. The noodle is overly cooked. They need a new management if they want to continue in the business.
This place has THE BEST raspberry lemonade! Its home made, tart, sweet, very well balanced. One of the best drinks. Especially for the summer, very refreshing.

HAD TAKE AWAY FROM SKIP THE DISH...THE EGG ROLL WAS BURNT BLACK. THE NOODLES WERE OVERCOOKED...AND THE FRIED WONTONS WELL ILL GIVE THEM AN EDIBLE BUT NOTHING GREAT

Came here for dinner with friends. I liked the “hidden gem” feeling of this place which you go down to enter.
Menu selections were plentiful for dinner, and if you come for lunch they even have specials which are neat! The food was okay, sashimi seemed fresh, and not too bland, not too salty. The other options like the teriyaki took a while maybe ~15 mins. Then for some reason 2 orders Bento A took 30+ mins, which was pretty disappointing for us. If you ordered Ramen, that was the fastest thing to come out only 7-8 minutes.

Not recommended if you are a savory person. The chilly chicken also has a sweet taste, and overall the chicken they use is a bit different (I don't know how to explain it, but you know it if you are a foodie).

Our food was cooked to order and was delicious. We were hesitant to try seeing some of the reviews stating the quality has diminished. This is the first time we’ve tried the food here so we can’t really compare but I thought the food was great. Seasoned well, tasted fresh and loved that it was fresh off the wok. Good meat to vegetable ratio. I do find some fast food Chinese chains put a lot of onion or vegetables as fillers but did not think this was the case for China Chopsticks. We ate it in our car at the parking lot for lunch. We will definitely come back to order again.

Very few Indian restaurants serve up food that is not only fresh but tastes like home made food; that’s exactly what you will find at mother India. Authentic homey flavours that always arrive hot and consistent in quantity and quality. Highly recommend the food!
The staff who served was very nice and pleasant. But the food was bad. Ordered fried rice and honey garlic chicken. The fried rice was definitely recooked after been kept refrigerated. The honey garlic chicken wasn’t fresh either.

I probably should not rate this place bc literally every time I go I always get the chicken pad Thai, which is the best in the city. Not sure if their other food is good but they usually are busy so I'm assuming it is.

I don't know how else to put this, but it was the freshest I've had in a while. We ordered again a week later for takeout and it was again just as fresh. Also, their rolls are super creative culinarily impressive and colourful.
I love the fact that it was inconspicuous and unassuming.....very different and refreshing from the current world we live in. No glitz, no glam, no pretend, no...."oh let me distract you with our million dollar decor while we serve you subpar food and charge you up the wazoo." Nope.....just good food and grateful service.

Amazing tasty sushi for takeout. They have superior freshness food and very enjoyable texture from sushi and sashimi. Torched maki has its unique flavour and very delicious. Definitely suggest to try!!! My regular sushi place right here!!

Honestly the best sushi places I’ve ever gone. I’m not much of a sushi lover, I go to the occasional Japanese restaurant and get maybe a couple of pieces but they never really fit my palette. Like places like Ichiban, or Sushi Moto, etc were never really interesting. But after discovering this absolute whole in the wall I can’t stop eating. As I’m writing this in the past 24 hours I’ve basically eaten half a platter of their sushi completely on my own. The staff are all amazing people always having an amazing time and really make you feel included and appreciated as a customer. I now go on an almost daily to weekly basis and always order the spicy or the creamy crab rolls exclusively but their huge platters are amazing for parties and gatherings. If you want amazing sushi and the fun and humour from a hibachi restaurant go to VIP sushi they’re cheaper and the experience is way better

Although this 40 piece part tray was a little bit pricey ($71 with tax) Their fish was really fresh and large. I like their crispy avocado shrimp roll especially. Their maki rolls were huge...
Very bad customer service the chicken was sooooo salty and soggy. Never ever going there again.
I really enjoyed my meals with Sixteenoz. I wasn’t sure what to expect with asking for pescatarian and gluten free meals but there was still so much variety! And they had more veggies that just cauliflower and broccoli which was really refreshing!
I also feel like they give more protein than other meals because I was really full! I’d be curious to get the macro breakdown.

I have been coming here over 5 years and it remains the greatest Indian establishment I’ve been to in Canada. The staff are professional, kind and knowledgeable. The menu is large including both vegetarian and non vegetarian options. Perfect for a cute date or just a simple takeout order.
Mother India is a shining beacon or hope in Parkdale and I am forever grateful to the fine people who work here both in the kitchen and front of house, they will take care of each and everything you need.
There is no compromising when it comes to Roti, Mother India is the premier option hands down no exceptions.

Big one for bento box🍱🍱🍱 . My friend from Victoria suggested me to come here. It’s very delicious. Fresh foods and not too salty. Not crowded in restaurant. Nice and friendly service. Not expensive at all. We love this place. The food very fast.Enjoy before shopping.
Lovely restaurant along Oak Street. Delicious takoyaki and fresh tasting sushi. We ordered the steak combo and assorted sushi combo. The steak was nicely seasoned and their marinate made it tender. Both were delicious and decent portion. Price was slightly high, but would recommend if your craving some sushi in the area.

Can’t say we will order from here again….quite the shame as it was always a safe go to.
Update: couldn’t help our selves thought too give it another shot ( we’ve had so many good meals from here over the last 15 years, this could just be the cook during the week)…ordered on a Saturday with high hopes of redemption for them…😖man it was just as bad if not worse then the last few times…such a sad situation..once a safe go to now a never buy😢

Have been going here for years. Today I ordered Green Chicken Curry/Noodles. Barely any noodles and two pieces of chicken. Quality of food wasn’t what it used to be. You lost a long time customer today. I won’t be back.
This was the worst food experience I have ever had and would award it zero stars if I could. I threw out 2/3rds of the order of dinner for 6. Also, website has price at $69 but price charged was $99. Such a disappointment. Don't know how they can stay in business
If you remember the chain of Chinese restaurants around toronto called HO LEE CHOW . They abruptly closed back in 2005. I used to get couple of dishes from them and I always had one favourite dish. After the closure of HO LEE CHOW I went on a Chinese food hunt to find my old favourite, after many searches and trail, I found this place, as soon as I found out that the owners are ex owners of HO LEE CHOW on Winston Churchill I was ecstatic. I’ve been their customer since 2008 and I always get one dish (satay chicken). They make it very well. I like that dish so much that I would choose that as my last meal before checking out.
I ordered some pre-made meals. They were all restaurant quality, and were a good size. I was hoping for more of a home-cooked meal, so it wasn't my thing (some too spicy or calorically dense, not a stand-alone meal), but if you need a main dish for a special occasion, this is a nice solution.
I recently discovered this hidden gem for lunch pickup, and it was a lifesaver on a busy day. I was looking for something reasonably priced yet delicious, and their lunch bento promotion caught my attention. I was pleasantly surprised by the generous portion size and the evident care they put into their food. Tasted delicious. In just 15 minutes, my order was ready for pickup, which was a great time-saver. I'm definitely planning to order from here again and might even visit for a dine-in experience. It's a solid choice for a satisfying lunch option.

It used to be decent quality and a good price and the quality went down slightly and the price went up drastically. Some items are 3 to 4 dollars more than they used to be a year ago and you can get the same exact thing the taste way better, and are far better quantity from Bangkok pad Thai and thaiphoon. Their fresh rolls used to be a decent price but they went down in size and our way over priced now as well as their coconut rice is ridiculously overpriced for what it is. And the curry was never really that great. Just a very watery yet flavourful sauce but now they just charge you way too much and put almost nothing in it but watery sauce. You can get the same food at many other places. For sometimes the same price for way better quantity and quality and sometimes a few dollars more but the quantity and quality is just so much better. It’s worth a couple bucks. This place was great when it was so much cheaper than the rest that you quality it was just a cheap, quick easy and somewhat tasty order and now it’s just not worth what it is. I would not recommend it anymore unfortunately And the pad Thai was never good. It was it was always garbage.
Low quality and waste of $. More vegetables than meat in the dishes.. like you really have to dig to find a meat piece. I love hot and sour soup. You can say I am a connoisseur of hot n sour soup. Lets just say this place is doing an injustice to the soup. Would not recommend. Please make the prices appropriately reflect the quantity and quality of the food.
Good variety. Food quality is on par of what you expect for the macro meals. Taste is very good for a healthy meal if you're watching weight and macros. I'd highly recommend Cindy and her team for providing me the service.
I love this place. It was an accidental discovery. Great food. Great burgers. The take home soups are super delicious. My favorite is the woodland mushroom....yummy yummy for your tummy.

Great experience with Sixteen Ounce. The menu changes weekly and provides a good array of food. They were able to accommodate my allergies and food intolerances, while providing a good variety of food selections including meats, fish and veggies. I highly recommend Sixteen Ounce if you are looking for a great meal plan.
We have ordered take out from here for many years minus covid. We ordered last night for a special occasion and everything was SO disappointing . Chicken balls rock hard, other Chicken dish was rubbery, I could go on. We won't go back, and will not recommend
Everyone who works here is so kind, charming and neighbourly. The food is incredible and everything is worth the price because you can tell the care that goes into making/selecting each item. So happy that this place exists. Has GREAT gift basket content too; lots of artisan honeys and spreads.
overall the food is pretty good, I’ve ordered it three times. I really enjoy the cantonese egg noodles, I believe their quality of food is better than most Chinese takeout places. The general tao was way to saucy for my liking but the chicken quality was decent and not over cooked like many fast takeout food is. I think the prices are a bit high but the portions are not bad. Another complaint is the staff can be rude, never to me but I have heard them yelling on the phone at presumably customers over wrong orders.

Living alone, and being disabled in a wheelchair, I need to order literally all my meals, so I’ve become pretty familiar with what’s offered from various companies… As far as taste goes, these meals are great and the service has been very good. -my concern is with this serving size… I have to augment a lot of the meals with whatever might be in my fridge to avoid going to bed hungry. so that can represent a lot of work for me. For others, it might be less of an issue. Overall, I think the quality of the food is good but there’s often not enough to call it a meal. (btw, I am not what you would call a ‘big’ eater… I don’t have a huge appetite)
Their sushi platter is truly delicious! We enjoyed it so much. Just wanna suggest for them to update their prices online. It is deceiving because what you see there is different from what the actual price is. They claimed it wasn’t updated but we’ve been ordering for almost a year now and then and in that timeframe they never updated it🙈
This is one of the best experience with meal prepping. The ingredients are so fresh, and its so easy to navigate when it comes to ordering what I prefer. From everything you'd want to avoid, to filling your body with fuel. This is the best place to order.
I bought the 12 pack Macro meal plan. The dishes are made with very fresh ingredients. It’s deliciously flavorful, well packaged and delivered right to your door. They’re very conscious of food allergies as well.

We stopped in for lunch pick up, lamb burger, spicy chicken, onion rings, just ate it all and our tummies are full and happy.

Enjoyable and affordable chinese takeout. I ordered the house special wonton soup, house special lo mein, some shrimp dish, orange beef, and the general Tsao combination plate. Expect for the orange beef, I would order everything again. This was an order for two people ( I wanted to check out different dishes), and there was so much food we ended up eating leftovers for days!

Tasty food with friendly staffs. Visited this restaurant during my travel to Vancouver & totally loved it. Price was reasonable compared to the other restaurants during my travel in Vancouver. Went there just 5 mins before their closing time still they were not pushy to close. Highly recommend 👍🏻

In one of my previous reviews, I ordered the same item at Sushi One and dined in. That was a mediocre experience. Today’s Black Dragon Roll here was ginormous, fresh, had a really good taste and the unagi (eel) tasted so much better here. I waited around 10-15 minutes only for my one item order. This place has no seating - takeout or delivery only. Highly recommend. The photos speak for themselves!!! The price is the same as Sushi One. I would therefore rather eat from VIPS Sushi.

I ordered for the first time last week and WOW! Food is amazing and so easy to reheat. Much better than the meal box orders you get delivered and then have to cook yourself. The prices are amazing and for a busy person with a family, this is a great option for 3-4 meals a week. the quality truly is fantastic and dishes tastes great. Definately my new go to every week for a few meals.
WOW I’ve tried so many different meal delivery services and sixteen ounce nails it when it comes to taste, portion sizes, variety and convenience. I asked for “extra sauce” and they made it extra saucy for me proving that they treat every individual order with love and care. The meals literally look and taste like art! Will definitely order from them again :)
The pepper steak is really flavourless as for the salt and pepper shrimps are the worst I ever had. The shrimps looks great but really weird,it taste like pepper from India or somewhere else but definitely not what I’m use to when I order salt and pepper shrimps . Its a really acquired taste .The general Tao is okay . The eggs noodle are okay too.
It's a good local place and has been in our community for many years. Food is usually fine but sometimes heavy on the vegetables / breading and less meat than average. On one occasion, ordered dinner for four and specifically asked for no onions. Was assured that only the spring rolls have onion. This is one of the dishes that arrived :(

The staff had horrible attitude. It’s 12:30PM and nothing is ready (no ice, no poutine sauce, no chicken). Waited 20mins in line and worker didn’t even bother to take my order so I left.

I don't expect much from PFK but I can't believe this was a $12 meal. I went there once and they ran out of chicken? In the middle of the afternoon?
Always terrible lazy service. Tried to get the cashier’s attention. He was sitting in the back on the counter on his phone. His shoes were right next to the prepared chicken.

WORST KFC EVER. THEY SAID THEY HAD NO CHICKEN IN A CHICKEN RESTAURANT. Think about that. How is that for customer service?

I could not believe what I heard and had the guy repeat what he said. After I left. The staff left to the back and customers were waiting out in front for quite a while after. Seems the workers there are authentic Thai. This is the small size pad Thai which costed me 7.92 CAD with tax. I bought it and had it just a few minutes after paying…It was the most dreadful pad Thai I had ever had in my life! They claimed that they had fish ingredients in it, which I guessed that it was Thai fish sauce. It was not lightly fishy yet appetising as I expected. It was unpleasantly sour and the pad seemed to had been kept for long time in storage which became rancid! The shop claimed that they sold the best pad Thai in London. You are warned before trying! I shall never be there again!
I ordered pickup, Black pepper beef with steamed rice ($17). Food tasted OK and had good amount of spice but portion was unbalanced and could have used more beef, it was basically all onion under the top layer. This is a very small takeout place with no seating and it looks pretty dingy on the outside, the inside is not much better as it's very cluttered and not very appealing. There is parking available and service was pretty quick. The experience was definitely not anything special, I don't think I will be back anytime soon.
I give one star to the friendly apologetic cashier. The KFC was out of chicken and ketchup, so we ordered a zinger. The chicken in the sandwich is much smaller than that of elsewhere. It was more like a chicken strip. Absolutely recommended against going to this KFC.
Decent tasting dishes but nothing to take home to. Service was very lacking and was unprofessional to say the least. Upon paying the bill, the waitress gave me a dark look while smiling at the one in front of me which was confusing. We waited 20-25 minutes for our food while other tables, who ordered after us, received their food first. Their Sukiyaki is quite tasty and is one of their best dishes and their ramen was surprisingly not bad. Not coming back again though due to the service.
I had a vegetarian dish but, it really neither tasted nor smelt like a vegetarian food :-(

$11.39 for a few chicken tenders that were soggy, some stale fries, and some popcorn chicken that had been cooked probably 5 hours before we got it. They ran out of drinks somehow, and didn't compensate anyone even though all their combos have drinks in them. "Hey guys, pay full price for this garbage meal but you also don't even get the full meal!"
The other Laval store was terrible too and it went out of business, and honestly it had better quality (by the smallest of margins).

Very rude, slow and unpleasant staff. There was no line up and the girls working there stayed in the back although they knew there were two customers. When they finally came to serve us, she was super rude, showed attitude and lack of respect, was unprofessional and didn't take time to listen and messed up the order.
Decent neighbourhood sushi joint. Got everything you are looking for to satisfy your cravings. Fish was fresh. Soft shell crab karrage wasn't really worth it though in my opinion. It was one piece for almost $11 bucks. But overall food and service was good.
