Drove to their office in DC to deliver check in person yesterday. They promised to deposit it in two hours. Two days passed, still no deposit in the account. When calling, they do not even pick up calls. I completely agree with the previous review: "They don't care about customers at all"

"By appointment only". Never been sent away from our local Scottrade branch, but almost every time TD Ameritrade tells me to go home and call them instead. IDK why I still bother. There are some questions however easier to talk with someone in person.

Previously with Scottrade, they had a specific local branch taking care of your account. And when you call, someone will immediately pick up the phone and help you.
With TD Ameritrade, there is no local branch linked to your account. And when you try to call a local branch nearby, you can't reach ANYONE! You are forced to enter an extension number (how on earth do I know if you don't include that in my account, which by the way, Scottrade did), or you will be transferred to customer service, where you will hold forever and no one answers your call.
By the way, the reason I called them is that I submitted a form online, but received no email confirmation or any traceable clue in my account.

They don’t respect customers period

I requested money working on Friday and dropped wiring form to the office. And called several times. The wiring hasn't happened on today Wednesday. Very slow and very unprofessional.
