Bowlero Woodland Hills

Made reservations and pre-paid for 2 hours. Arrived, got to our lane and sat and had to wait for them to start our game as they forgot to set up lane. Then during the game bowling pins got tangled and had to wait for 20 minutes to get them detangled. So after basically wasting a 1/2 hour of our time we ended up only playing 1 game. Went to check out to see about getting a refund for the time not used, was told if you pre-pay you are in eligible for any kind of refund. Needless to say we won’t be returning.

I really hope management reads this review.

First off we decided to celebrate our daughter's 12th birthday here. We payed over $600 for 5 kids and 5 adults. That included food, bowling, and arcade cards. We get to our two paid lanes and notice right off the bat that the party next to us is not very " welcoming " . They immediately start staring at us and whispering. I could see the older man of this particular group grow increasingly aggressive. His behavior was just odd. The next thing I know, a woman that works at this establishment tells me that the kids need to not walk thru the party next to us. Confused..... I asked her to repeat exactly what she was telling me. She told me that the older man was complaining and making a big deal that the kids were supposedly walking thru their paid section. None of our party was doing that. Within minutes of the complaint, a woman from the party next to us started yelling and flipped us off. Then they started mocking some of my daughter's friends! That was it for me. I asked to move. We LITERALLY had to move our entire party.

Honestly, I think kids parties should not be next to adult parties. I believe this was the issue. They didn't like the kids and found any way possible to make us uncomfortable enough to make us move . The whole situation was unfair and uncalled for. I really wish they offered us a partial refund! I have never been so embarrassed in front of other parents and having to answer the questions coming from my daughter and her friends like....

Why are those people mean?
Why do we have to move?
Why do they not like us?

So uncalled for ...... and I feel someone from this establishment should make it right!

The look of the bowling alley is beautiful the service is beautiful the food is a little on the pricey side but tastes very very good so I guess it's worth it now when it comes to the lanes they suck they absolutely suck these Lanes still have depends that have the string that resets the pins is absolutely hilarious and if you are a boulder that bowls with a curve or a hook it looks way too early the lanes are super greasy and shiny and even if you get used to it out there about the fifth frame it's still hard to break 150 on those Lanes when I sure whatever I thought everybody there just could not Bowl and I am what I consider a semi-pro average about 228 and on those lines I couldn't even get a hundred the first couple of games but the other good part about them is they have unlimited bowling so you can both as long as you want for $20

took forever to gwt our drinks and after waiting they ran out of what we ordered. so instead of credit they credited my card which takes 3-5 business days to get back. so we partied with family and no drinks

My family and I went to this location to use a Groupon deal. It was our first ever time bowling. Seemed nice upon checking in, there was a bit of a wait but it was a Monday so not bad but horrible experience with the manager though, he was very argumentative and seems like customers inconvenience him. He told us we put him behind because we ordered nachos 🧐 and blamed me for our simple order taking almost the duration of our 2hrs of bowling and never apologized instead spoke down to me in front of my kids. The only reason I give them 4 stars and not 0 is because of their outside manager Jacob. I was contacted after a review I sent them of the incident and asked what happened. The manager seemed to truly care to listen and want to fix it. I felt way more respected being able to tell him what happened and him listen vs the inside manager who seemed to have no customer service skills. He offered me to come back with my family and even said we can go to another location if we didn’t feel comfortable there. My family is looking forward to another try so we can all enjoy vs when I was having to miss out while trying to find help/ a manager. He also had me come in and another manager gave me a full refund for the experience. I didn’t ever even ask the first manager for a refund. I just wanted to know why the order took over an hour and I was ignored by staff when asking for an update. Once we finally did get our pizza and nachos our bowling time was up so I had to ask for a box since we had no time to eat it. He offered us a plastic bag 😒 thank you for resolving the situation Jacob and Carlos hopefully your customer service skills rub off on others. At least you know if there is an issue here they’ll resolve it.

Deceptive. Started to book a 2 hour block and out of confusion from the website ended up booking a party for 3 people for a double birthday. Wasn't informed that it was only 1.5hrs until the lane said we had 5 min left (only 20 min.after our 3rd party arrived), and then the place decided to close an hour early without notice giving us only 5 min. left of what we thought was 45 min. we had left. Manager said he'd give us 15 min., but charge us an extra $27 for that 3rd person we thought was already booked that only bowled 1 quick game. That 15 min. was all we had left of the apparent 90 at that point that we had coming, but we just left. Oh, and the pizza we ordered confirmed twice including at the desk was wrong and took 40 min. at that on a slow weeknight. They replaced, but made sure to remind us they gave us a free pizza while telling us they were kicking us out early. Don't bother. 😡

It was my first time here and I loved it! We played a couple hours of bowling, ate pizza and played some arcade games. My kids enjoyed their time and we would definitely come back again.
