Acropolis Hill Hotel

A basic hotel very close to the Acropolis. Service is subpar. Breakfast is exactly the same everyday (typical but a negative for me) If you book with a discount site they put you in the worst room. For us, it was the handicapped room (the second floor- which is below reception ( unnatural toilet for children, hazardous due to slippery floors for children as well.) Oh yea, they stole my bluetooth headphones. I had an annoying stay.

Parking is a problem. Breakfast could be better. Location is the best as most of the tourist attractions are a walking distance.

The “Goldilocks” boutique hotel. Great balance of value, location, proximity to sites and transport, including pool and rooftop, great free breakfast, friendly staff, etc - just need it to have a room for us next year :)

I stayed in the Acropolis Hotel back in August 2023, when I went on a single holiday to Athens. The staff were super helpful on arrival (telling me the best places to go, where to eat etc) and the room was amazing (I was on the second floor with a view of the city behind me). The room has Air Conditioning, very comfy beds and all the amenities you would expect to find in a hotel room. They even bought a mini fridge for me when they saw that I had some food with me (I didn't even ask for this)! Location wise, I don't think you could get much better than this - the Acropolis & Slopes is only a 5 minute walk, and all other attractions are within a 15 minute walk. Breakfast was excellent every day (there's a wide choice of continental and traditional foods) and the pool was also lovely to relax in after a hot day in the sun. I'd highly recommend this hotel if you are staying in Athens. Staying there as a lone traveller, I felt very safe, and it's a lovely hotel to stay in.

Acropolis hill is perfectly located for people wanting to explore Athens and see the sights. It’s a 10 minute flat walk to the acropolis and there’s some beautiful parkland across the road with paths and sites to see. The hotel has a pool and balcony with a great acropolis view and the staff are super friendly and welcoming. We didn’t have a flight until 8pm but after checking out were able to leave our bags with the staff, have a taxi organised and come back to use the pool and take a shower in the afternoon. The buffet breakfast was tasty and had a variety of food. We would definitely recommend and would stay again.

Spotlessly clean room, great breakfast and perfectly located, only 5 minutes from the Acropolis… Surrounded by countless bars & restaurants.. Excellent polite & professional staff.. Rooms not the biggest hence the 4 stars, but a minor issue in the grand scheme of things.. Recommend

Great location close to the Acropolis. Pool is small but refreshing after a very warm day. Rooftop patio is lovely at night. Breakfast was much appreciated and had good variety. Rooms are small and a little dark, better lighting would be helpful. TV is on the wall at the end of the bed. Be careful, we both hit our head on it!
