Beautiful hotel, well maintained. Christmas decorations are just perfect! Food, snacks are not cheap. Great pool area, you will be entertained the whole time.

Valet parking services are terrible. We waited almost 1 hour in rush hour. It’s better to pay the self parking.

Bell staff is a mess. Be careful, they could not find my scooter (rented with a 3rd party company and delivered to them) and my husband had to double check multiple times until they found it.

It is definitely a very big, and exciting place. There's definitely plenty to do. Loved all the attractions inside the resort, the rooms were nice. When we first arrived the valet was swamped, there was no direction, no signs, nobody letting us know what to do, I get it was Christmas vacation for everyone, plus the ICE convention going on, among other things, but a big place like that should have been prepared for that. Next the line just to check in was about a mile long because not all desks were filled up to check people in. We tried to check in with our card but the card reader was down so that added even more paperwork and time for us to fill it out in order to finally get checked in. We get to our elevator and take it up to our floor and when we get out we are greeted with garbage outside our elevator that actually remained there until we checked out three days later. We asked for housekeeping for the second day of our stay and all they did was take out our dirty towels, give us new ones, and make our bed without replacing our sheets. The staff was very courteous and cordial everywhere we went, so no complaints there at all. We just would have expected more from a resort that we all pay a lot of money to stay at, as well as spend inside the resort itself. Wreckers restaurant had excellent food, but unfortunately our burger was cooked completely opposite of the way we had asked, so the waiter immediately apologized and took it back and gave us a new one on the house, well good thing I checked the bill because it was not on the house, we were definitely charged for it so I just held the bill up to address the waiter about it and before I could even say anything he snatched it out of my hand and said he will fix it 🤔 other than that it was all in all a good place. We were told at check in to call down to valet before we are ready to check out, well no one at valet answered for the five minutes we tried calling.......when we got downstairs we found out why. There was another thirty minute wait to get our vehicle from valet to finally go home.

This was a trip me and my wife got away for new years . The hospitality was great. Spoke to them on the phone and advised my visit and A- plus to the desk staff for doing what they do. We did find it challenging just wanting to eat at a sit down restaurant. And this is very well due to the holiday. We wanted to get lunch and it was a 2 hour wait at the sports bar restaurant. First thing I did when I got there was to make a reservation at the steak place for dinner . They had nothing available at all. So we made our way to the buffet restaurant and the lady said the same all booked up and to stop by after 8. I did and they again told me all booked up and to try at 9. The only issue I had with that was from 5pm up until 8 they had many empty tables . I added the photo at 8pm. The ice sculptures were nice and the light show was wonderful experience. The only issue was that they call themselves a 4 star hotel and yet no accommodation for dinner at all. So I would imagine that’s not 4 star for my stay that I had paid $500 a night for with all the extra fees like resort fees and so on. My wife and I had ordered a pizza for our new year celebration and watched the ball drop from our room. The spa was great and the breakfast was somewhat ok . For the price of breakfast It really just felt like a standard local buffet place for breakfast. Again I would assume it’s on me for not having a reservation, but again it seemed like it was very different to find anything to eat. Room service could have been an option but there really is no where to eat in the room but your bed and desk . Also charges on my room that i never charged . They reversed the charges when i disputed them.

Way overpriced for everything. Got a Groupon ticket for ice. The ice slide was cool but it’s not what I was expecting for the price. The walk through took us about 10 minutes, including going on the ice slide. We noticed other activities that were at a minimum of $25 max of $120. And parking was absolutely outrageous. It was $35 plus tax. It’s cheaper to park Disney..

there are lots of things to do at this hotel in addition to the nicely appointed rooms. we went for the holiday ICE event, which was great. do it once, and you'll want to make it a family tradition. great garden displays indoors. good selection of restaurants, which are a bit pricey but variety of styles on-site. good service staff. family friendly resort

My family and I had an absolutely delightful experience at the ice exhibition at Gaylord Palms! It's a fantastic activity, especially for families with kids. The theme of all the ice sculptures being characters from a Charlie Brown Christmas brought the classic story to life in such a magical way.

The attention to detail and craftsmanship of the sculptures was impressive, and our kids were mesmerized by the vibrant colors and intricate designs. It truly felt like stepping into the world of Charlie Brown and his friends.

A helpful tip for future visitors: make sure to bring gloves and dress warmly! The exhibition area is quite chilly, but with the right attire, it becomes a cozy winter wonderland adventure. The staff was friendly and accommodating, making our visit even more enjoyable.

Overall, the ice exhibition at Gaylord Palms is a must-visit during the holiday season. It's a heartwarming and visually stunning experience that brings joy to both kids and adults alike.

Went to the ICE event and to see some of the Christmas shows with my family it was really cool to see the ice sculptures in 9 degree weather. It was super cold in there so dress warm.
During the Christmas show one employee in particular an older lady (ALICE) chose to pick on us we were the only black family sitting in the section and she decided to make it her duty for us to move from where we were sitting . We sat in the exact same seats from the previous show earlier that day but she still insisted that we move because people would be coming to the show that probably paid for the seats so we needed to move. We explained to her that she was being very unreasonable and she said we could go ahead and report her so that’s what I'm doing.
There were plenty of other seats there to sit and she call security on us to move she didn’t tell any other family to move and we paid for our seats in advance as well . 15-30 minutes into the show the seats were all empty they didn’t have that many people attending the show so she told us to move for no reason simple because we are black.

Catering food was great (unfortunately did not get a chance to eat at the restaurants). Service was great whenever I needed directions or housekeeping. Location was beautiful inside (Christmas decor + Ice!) and proximity to Disney for team building event was fun. Will definitely bring back my kids for a staycation here to enjoy the pool slides later and to visit Ice! next year.
