Green Elephant

I'm dissappinted since the food is good here. THE PROBLEM IS THAT THEY DON'T TAKE ALLERGIES SERIOUSLY.

This is the 2nd time this has happened that I selected no soy for my wife since she has a soy allergy and we found tofu in her dish. I even took a picture of the order on the bag that says "no soy meat" and it still did. The only reason why I decided to check the food before she started eating it was because the lid didn't have "no soy meat" on it like the order specified. If my wife ended up eating it, we would have had to go to the hospital. Moving forward, we will not be getting food here anymore due to our concerns with allergies.

Wow! The Green Elephant is perhaps the best vegan restaurant I've dined at while traveling. Most excellent!! We had the special appetizer of the day - Curried Puffs. Then split the Steamed Vegetables and Peanut Sauce and a kind of Naan that was lightly fried, accompanied by a slightly sweet sauce. A glass of wine and I was set for slow stroll through the old downtown area.

Great experience! The dumplings were okay, the spring rolls were good and my pad thai was great! The staff were very friendly and the decor/set up is very cute. It was loud because it was so busy and we waited a really long time after getting the bill for the server to take my payment.

Decided to celebrate a birthday @The Green Elephant-glad we did! My dish was delicious! Ample portion of fresh flavorful ingredients. My choice was:

Thai Ginger Noodles
Stir-fried wide rice noodles with egg, tofu, ginger, broccoli, carrots, onions, snow peas and scallionsr

A lovely & relaxed positive atmosphere. We will return!

Amazing place to dine! My boyfriend and I were both super impressed by how delicious the food was and how great the service is! We got the king oyster mushroom tempura, green Thai curry, Singapore noodles, and the fried banana dessert. You can choose your own spice levels for the dishes which is very convenient. Thanks again!

I had dinner here alone and everything was absolutely delicious. I ordered the spring rolls & dumplings for my appetizers and the vegan pad thai for my entrée. Wow, talk about flavorful! The spring rolls and dumplings were fresh with excellent veggie + mushroom flavors, and the pad thai was the star of the show. It came out steamy with the perfect mix of sweet peanut & savory veg. Generous portions that weren’t overly filling. I appreciated that everything I ordered was vegan. The only negative was that the service was a bit slow, but probably to be expected for a Saturday night!

One of the few restaurants that had this good taste and this good experience! All vegetarian options, that was the beauty of it. No shortfalls, just wished they had a bigger place so that they could fit in more customers as we waited for 5-10 mins plus table space was little crunchy but good food filled that gap!
