I've been here twice for special occasions (birthday, anniversary) and enjoyed it each time. Great location, decent staff, good food... If you're looking for a nice place to go out to eat in Nijmegen and don't mind the slightly pricey food, I can recommend this place! Don't forget to reserve a table beforehand though.
Service was nice with the exception of one server explaining to us how we should supply allergen information in the future.... Uncalled for and unprofessional.
Food was clearly made by white people for white people and I can't recommend this if you'd expect even a modicum of authenticity. You also pay an insane amount for food that you could make at home for a fraction of the price. You could probably do it better at home too... very mediocre and not properly prepared.... It's either overcooked, dry or under seasoned
Building itself and decor were very nice, though they blast techno music that kinda ruins your ability to hear others talk.

Nice environment. I started with duck with rice vermicelli and soy sauce. It was really, really good. My partner liked her pork bao. For the main meal, I had a really nice lightly fried (almost raw) salmon with grapefruit, ponzu and basil. So good. My partner had corn chicken. Overall, the food tasted great. Thoroughly recommend!
Great food at an amazing location. Unique Asian fusion dishes. The terrace at the water is nice and they serve great cocktails.

The Rijsttafel was delicious and plentiful, but thankfully we listened to the house recommendation of Duck Loempia, and it was something very special indeed…don’t miss it, even if you think you don’t like duck, it’s a melt-in-your-mouth affair and a guaranteed winner, so no wonder it’s a local favorite. The interior of Bankoh is also nice as well as the terrace, if the Dutch weather should ever comply.

Excelent!! If u love asian food (with a touch of the west) u must go to Bankoh Bristro. Don't miss the opportunity to be once at least.
Amazing place with modern Asian dishes while keeping the authentic flavors in place! Loved the pandan flavors in the cocktails! ❤️ The service is great and the view when sitting outside gives a vacation vibe! 😊
