It used to be a great place to live. The office is very poorly run and the front desk used to be very good but they have treated them with such disrespect. They ar leavung

Valet parking, security check-in, nice clean accommodations, lap pools and gym. All in the heart of the city. Very nice we maintained complex.

Front desk staff are outstanding: Gena, Talib, Rafael, Sherrie, & David, they make everything easy for residents. The condo association and management are horrible though. Over the years, they schedule construction projects one after another (and most of them are just restoring the external facades). Non-stop construction noise, and don't expect them to tell you when these would end. They just want to keep hammering the building to remind you of their existence. They don't care about your well being. Whenever they say "it's close to be finished", don't trust them, it will be at least another year. They also don't pay the awesome front desk people fairly.

Great building. Staff is terrific - especially Gina and Talib. The two of them absolutely make living in this building so, so much more enjoyable. The Board and long-term owners are often insane and have some crazy rules - but this is probably true for most personally owned buildings. Gym is terrific.

Just horrible new residents!
There are so many pets (dogs) in a building that doesn’t allow them! It’s just not true when you see new people with puppies all the time.
Horrible gym etiquette from the young people! They don’t wipe down the equipment in the middle of a pandemic!
Smoking in the balcony’s and I mean cigars. You can’t go outside or open the windows!
Forget about privacy, these people think you owe it to talk to them!
Construction 24/7 , it never ends because of all of the deferred maintenance!

I can’t wait to get out of this filthy hole!

Building management is to blame! Just no accountability!

The people who work at academy house are wonderful. They are hardworking, personable and positive. They are a strong asset. The building has undergone many improvements and the terrace and gym are huge, recently redone and lovely. Last but not least, the residents are great. It’s a varied group from young to old, student to professional, some racial diversity. Everyone gets along and there are various interest groups that are available to residents. The location is fabulous, close to the Wilma, kimmel and academy( when they all reopen). The apartments are reasonably priced. They may need updates, but it’s worth it.

The building has everything that most other condos have to offer, and more, all included in the condo fee or rent... and the location just can't be beat. Amazing and attentive staff, incredible new fitness and aquatic center, on-site valet parking (or self-park across the street).
