They had a special event yesterday called Winter wonderland. It was really nice. They had a lot of vendors giving out free infomation, kids activities, and gifts. Everyone was given a ticket to get a slice of pizza. Also, a bag containing the ingredients to make smores. There was a fruit and vegetable table, german potato salad samples, and a live DJ

All 3 of my kids love this place. Huge area to let them run and try out all diff play areas inside and out. They have a small library and playroom upstairs and a smaller area for kids like 3 and under to play downstairs. The outside areas are awesome. Some days are way too crowded tho. I'd suggest going during a weekday if possible for the 1st time going so your kid(s) to really get to enjoy the experience and not feel rushed to take turns or be shoved to the side by bigger kids to go 1st on the big wood potato sack slide. There were some rude older kids who kept climbing thru the window to to beat the lines and literally shoved 2 of my 3 kids to the wall so they could go and then kept walking up it so other kids couldn't go until their friends got back thru the window again. 🙄 but kids will be kids I just wish more parents payed attention while there so they could correct their own children's behaviors.

We love “Smith” ❤️!
Check it out, they have a sprawling outdoor playground space that has different zones for kids to play in their age range. A Massive giant wooden slide that adults can slide on.

🅿️Parking, is easy right out front. On busy days you may find yourself parking on the side of the road leading up to the location.

🆓Best of all it’s totally free, but we recommend you make a donation to keep a good thing going!

Very nice park, different sections to enjoy. I like that they're both indoor and outdoor play grounds. This is definitely top ten parks in Philly.

Great fun for the kids. My sister & I took our grandkids, they had a blast & didn't want to leave. Lots of things for them to do inside & on the outdoor playground. Ample free parking. Lovely grounds to stroll thru or just sit, relax & watch the kids having fun. Would definitely go back again

Great place to stop when traveling from New York to Baltimore. This place is so special because of its dual indoor and outdoor play areas. Regarding the massive outdoor playground, there is a very unique large wooden slide (the century old Ann Newman Giant Wooden Slide) where one has to sit on a bag to slide down. The actual slide actually has a roof over it. There are then many different sections which are spread out based on age. The Playground is situated on its original historic landscape – 6 1/2 acres of open fields, wooded terrain, and sloped hills. The indoor section is very unique. It is a giant mansion which consists of many rooms. Each room has many different toys and its own theme. There a three different floors. Expect to spend hours here. There are friendly people here. Also be prepared for your children not to want to leave this place! Over seven million was raised to renovate this amazing place. This amazing place is truly the most unique indoor and outdoor playground we have ever been to! Lastly, FREE VISITING HOURS are Tuesday through Friday Playground 10am-6pm and Playhouse 10am-5pm. Closed Mondays. All hours are weather permitting. They charge Saturday and Sunday.

Very glad to come across this playground while traveling. My son enjoyed it a lot. The outdoor play area was spacious and shady with many trees and benches. There’s also indoor play area with toys and books for little ones. I saw a family celebrating a birthday there. It was a very pleasant experience.
