Simply delicious. Very affordable. Worth a try!
Their Sunday menu is definitely not a classic steak house menu. No medium-rare rib-eye. Instead, you will receive a large portion of grilled meat with fantastic vegetables, potatoes and bread. The atmosphere is good for a date or meeting with a friend.

You really can’t go wrong with Blacklock. All of their food is fantastic and the service from staff is excellent.
Usually I’d suggest going for the all-in if you’ve never been before, that will keep you going! Had 850g porterhouse this time, and wow it was delicious.
The chips are superb, sides are delectable.

Lovely food and service all around. Steaks are really nice and always cooked to desired temperature. Pig’s head on toast is an absolute MUST. My mother doesn’t really eat pork, but she comes to Blacklock to only eat that and nothing else!!
Firstly, the food here is incredible! I had the roast lamb and added cauliflower cheese and it was sublime. The lamb was tender and tasty and the portion size was perfect! Also pictured are the white chocolate cheesecake and bread
And butter pudding, both of which were delicious. Next, the service was absolutely 5 star, the staff are lovely and down to earth. My waitress who was a Welsh lady was amazing. The ambience was also lovely. I will definitely be coming again soon.

We went today for lunch and we loved it! Probably will come back! Meat was very good quality and well cooked! Fries weren’t a big deal, normal chips. The sauces were really nice! We had the head’s pig on toast, and it was delicious, we almost ordered another toast!! Will definitely will come back to have the shared meats! Looked lovely! My only down will be the white chocolate cheesecake. It was homemade but the cheese part… it was disappointing, it was like eating butter basically. Won’t go for that one anymore.
Where do I start!!! If I could give 7 stars I would. My friends and I were in London for a meeting and we were famished. Found this gem in Soho. It's a basement restaurant with such a great vibe and packed full. Phil, the front of house was amazing! He went above and beyond to get us seated despite we not making a reservation ahead of time. We were served my Ida, who made brilliant recommendations. The food was so tasty we ordered for seconds. I don't normally like broccoli but their broccoli and walnut side so delicious. The meat was all cooked to perfection and the blackiron gravy made it taste even better. The cherry on top of the cake was the delightful white chocolate cheesecake. We had to get some for home. We can't wait to come back here. Great value for money! Excellent service! Delicious food! What's there not to like?!
Went in for a Sunday roast and it generally did not disappoint. Everything was cooked well, with the gravy incredible. The only knock would be that the portions of meat were a bit small in the "all in" option. Things like 3 ribs in a meal for 4 were slightly off-putting, given the nature of the style of meal. All in all, excellent value for the money and would go again if I could somehow get another reservation.
