Blacklock Covent Garden

It is the best venue of the four we have been to.
Empathetic staff.
The Sixth Rib-eye and Blacklock Fillet were excellent, tasty and well cooked. The paired sauces Garlic Marrow Spread and Bearnaise perfect.
Chips, Kale & parmisan in the normal range.
Dessert plentiful and good.
Appreciated aperitif !!!

Staff were exceptionally attentive and friendly, went with 3 stars for food only because the meat was cold for all members of the group (3). We had a birthday in the group so they gave a portion of the White Chocolate Cheese Cake and Americano Coffee complimentary. Overall an enjoyable visit to Blacklock.

Food was incredible! There was 3 of us sharing the all in option on the menu. Meat was cooked to perfection, sides were so flavourful, sauces were delicious. Also the white chocolate cheesecake was to die for, Can’t fault anything. Definitely recommend to anyone!

Having previously been to Blacklock in Soho years ago, it was about time to try Covent Garden and it was still as good as I remember. Brought a few colleagues here and they absolutely loved it. Delicious cocktails, beautiful nibbles, piles of incredible meat and equally spectacular sides, can't really go wrong!

The place has an excellent location, is hidden away from the noise of Covent garden and the atmosphere is nice and warm. Food is excellent with some free starters to try at arrival and free water to serve yourself. We really enjoyed the food and the service is friendly and fun. Only downside is from the dissert part as it was served on a tray with many cookies more than the cheese cake itself. I love cheese cake but this was mostly cookies lying all around . 😐
But overall we will come back and try again soon !

My partner and I swear by Blacklock and we come back year after year because we know what we're gonna get; fantastic steak (the best in town, frankly), great drinks and lovely staff. The cheesecake is also beyond this world. The only constructive criticism is that the music is SO loud. The din from other patrons is already loud, so the music doesn't need to be really, it can be a bit hard to hear your companion. That said, the vibe is lovely and it's something you can overlook for such great and affordable food.

Quick service and really good steaks and meat dishes.

We had the porterhouse, lamb rump, pork belly and Pig’s head on toast. Everything was exceptional, including the beef dripping chips.

We had the cheesecake for dessert, but tasted a little too rich.
