Great Pies. Some of the best Butter 🧈 Tarts and pies 🥧 I’ve had. Grabbed these at the Balls Falls Fall Festival and will definitely be back for more. Excited that they are in Toronto too.

The butter tarts did not disappoint, OMG. The pastry is a classic, throw-back to Nana's back in the day. Great - cannot be duplicated at home! Excellent service in Cabbagetown at the Arts Festival yesterday. The show is still on today, worth the trip from the west end for this taste of heaven. Shout out to the staff, friendly and charming!

I bought a peach pie today from the East York farmer's market this morning. After supper, I sat down with a cup of coffee and cut into the pie. The top crust was extremely thick, the filling was only about 3/8" thick and the bottom crust was thicker than the top crust. I was looking forward to a peach pie so I took a bite and did not swallow the piece of pie. The filling had no taste. Must be canned filling. The crust was not flaky and tasted stale. I have eaten my share of pies in my 70 years and this one ranks in the top 3. I called the store and the answering machine came on and said the memory was full. I wonder if other buyers had the same issues as I did. Scanning the pie PiCs on this site shows a completely different pie than the one I bought. I will be taking this up with the store once I am back in town. KARL from east york

Bought a strawberry and rhubarb pie at the east York civic center on Tuesday at farmers market. It was the worst tasting pie I ever had. It’s has no flavor, dry filling and pastry has know flavor and is not flaky at all. 12 dollars for nothing. Also heard another customer say about the cinnamon buns were not cooked in the middle raw and cold inside. Will not go there again.

Their pies are very, very good, with a flaky crust and tasty fillings. For a few years now, our (now) teenager son has been requesting a pie rather than a cake for his birthday. This year, the owner who delivered the cake even threw in a half dozen butter tarts.

I bought several of the tarts and pies from Row Farms for friends during Christmas, in the past I've loved the tarts and pies and have always bought. Bought during Christmas 2020 when I saw mould on the apple crumble tarts I was so scared what my friends experience had been. I only saw this because my husband and daughter wanted to share and I had to cut it in half with a knife, otherwise we usually just bite into it. So I wasted about $40 on Pie's and tarts not known if they were all in that state or what. I was disappointed and didn't go back to Row Farms since.

My aunt had not eaten her favortite dessert, raisin pie, in almost 40 years. Even though I live in Chicago, I made it my mission to get a raisin pie for her birthday. After finding them at Sweet Seduction Bakery, Allen and everyone there went above and beyond to provide the highest level of service I've ever received from ANY bakery, restaurant or retail store to get them delivered to her on her birthday complete with a card. And, the pie....my aunt absolutely loved it and it was devoured in less than a day, which is why I bought 2! I cannot thank this bakery enough and can't wait to go there in person to try their other sweet and savory options. #supportlocal
