You can't consider this airport as a international airport as in term of facilities is very very poor , , if we leave the facilities aside another problem that now a days no airport's using the hand for checking the passengers there is a devise , why hand ???? Another problem is duty frees that they are the biggest cheater no price on the goods ,and the staff any price they wish they will charge the passengers I bought every thing dubble and triple price , then they have a cip lounge which is too far from any cip or first class or any other lounge in the world staff extremely need a training or coustomer service courses & the food variety is very poor, decorations

Visited more than 30 countries, Shiraz international airport is the worst I have been, 1 woman and 1 man in salam airliner counter are the most worst and unprofessional I have meet, everything I experienced and everyone I meet including the immigration office are super nice during my 27 days in this country, I would say Iran is the most country I like before I meet this super 2 disgusting persons. I don’t want to use uncivilized words to express my anger that would make myself uneducated. Suggest if there are 2 persons at counter ask you do this do this, do not follow it, they are unprofessional, I follow it, then miss my flight, they can not image the serious consequences I am going to face.
Although Iran is a very beautiful country and Shiraz, its cultural and historical capital, is a must-see among all the other cities, BUT the airport is literally one of the worst airports I have ever visited. Especially the general service level is extremely low. In the last years I experienced more and more how the obviously untrained SECURITY STAFF HARASS GUESTS including me as a tourist right before leaving the county. It’s simply scandalous for the international airport of one of most touristic cities of Iran…
The air-conditioning was off. The temperature was higher than the comfortable level. All in all it is a small terminal that can accommodate at most two flights at the same time
Small and well-organized airport! But don't purchase anything from the shops as the costs are 3 to 4 times more expensive in this airport!

The design and environment is very relaxing and well designed.
The metro station making a well access to the airport although the place of airport is far from the city Hall.

On a personal note, I like and prefer small (tinier the better) airports as compared to the big, busy and overwhelming ones. Shiraz's international airport is nice and my type! Non-fussy, simple, easy and quick security & check-in procedures. You can easily afford to arrive barely an hour before your flight. A small counter (wo) manned by an Iranian woman selling snacks, a prayer room behind adorned with coloured mirrors, modern water unit with faucets straw, clean washrooms (mostly squat style) is all you need before boarding flight for other cities across the country.
