The staff openly talks about patients issues in the office. They openly talked about a woman who was threatening to kill herself. They have rule if you miss an appointment they make it even harder for you to see the dr. Dr Cornelius is clearly sailing it in toward the twilight of his career. He came highly recommended however my experience was a man who didn’t listen and offered vague borderline useless suggestions while ignoring any physical symptoms I’ve been having. Im glad I don’t have to go back

Would give zero if possible. My husband waited months to get in with Dr. Cornelius and paid a $100 co pay for the Dr. To tell him he couldn't treat him. No refund period. That's robbery. Do not go here ever!!!!

I should have spoke to someone before speaking with them. Horrible EXPERIENCE all the way around. Poor customer service. Would not provide the paperwork I provided to them from my employer. Clearly not professional and very opinionated staff. The google reviews are accurate. Check before signing up to speak with them. Bad to worse!!!!!!!

I absolutely love Dr Cornelius BUT his office staff is horrible. The front desk staff is very unprofessional and seems to not have enough training. They take no accountability for anything. How are you going to tell someone that they have a balance due, not able to explain it and just give them a print out and say Here you can figure it out. No maam. Then lie to the dr and relay incorrect information so now I am unable to obtain my refills. Dr Cornelius needs to be made aware of what is going on with his staff.

I am a state certified addiction therapist. If it were not for Dr. Cornelius taking up as much time with me as I needed and genuinely wanted to know about what was going on in my life and how I'm coping, he is excellent. The nurse practitioner needs to be replaced. She spoke negatively of patients to the other undereducated secretary or office assistant the entire time I waited. They have no tact.
The nurse practitioner has never welcomed anyone including me with a hello, how are you but when you walk up to the window she will not even acknowledge that you are a patient standing there waiting to be helped. She turns around and walks off. The other assistant in the office had no idea about my BCBS policy and said I was not covered but my primary physician just sent a referral over to him from BCBS. It was never taken care of and I've had to pay as a patient with no insurance would pay the three times I have been there. I'm going one more time this week to see how it goes. If it's not better, I'm going to their superior s. Dr. Cornelius needs to find another nurse practitioner bc he is loosing patients left and right bc she is there. I hear talk of all of this as I work for a mental health facility.

I've been hesitant to leave a review as I don't want to be treated differently while I continue care. I will say I'm continuing care here because Dr. Cornelius has been wonderful. I think he knows there are issues with communication. I have not once received a returned call from the staff after leaving a message and have only been successful at getting medication when I follow up on a daily basis well before a refill is due. It's an incredibly tedious and unnecessary process. On a few occasions the staff has been rude and I've witnessed them handle situations unprofessionally during visits. I can only believe, based on my own experiences, that other patients are dealing with the same poor communication which really hurts neurodivergent patients. It would be a major upgrade to this practice to make refill processes easier, maintain a clear and time sensative line of communication, and be respectful to patients who really do rely on these services.

This place is garbage. Dr. Cornelius told my girlfriend who was under his care to always call if she can’t receive meds. She called and left messages when she couldn’t that NO ONE returned. Then told her it was her responsibility to keep track of her meds. Made her take a pee test to re-up insurance without telling her to drink fluids beforehand. She can’t just pee on demand. If you love total uncaring “professionals” that act like they’re doing people with emotional issues a favor by giving them such disrespectful treatment: then this is your place.
