I went into my episode for being provided with antidepressants. When I got out of the hospital they had prescribed me with various medications that seemed to be working. My provider, Cherry Mckoy and her assistant Alexa, don’t seem to care about me getting refills or my medication when I run out. They give me the wrong dosage I was supposed to take. I had this happened twice already. I always have to call them to check if they could get my medication refilled and they either blame it on the pharmacy or say they’ll get back to me and never do. They obviously don’t care and I’m sorry to say I’ve had a horrible experience with them and would not recommend them to anyone.
I was enrolled in PCS from October 4th 2022 till August 12th 2023. I am now 17 years old and the things I have witnessed at this school are beyond comprehension. I have watched “staff” observe children who are actively a danger to themselves and ignore/antagonize. There were bed bugs and some “staff” were only 4 years older than some kids. Please look at other options for your child before resorting to Provo Canyon School. Many cases of medical neglect and harm. I was personally given a bible and Book of Mormon inscribed with my legal name by the nurse practitioner. I know many other students had been given similar books. I still struggle with anxiety and I am attempting to understand the trauma I was subjected to in this “school”.
This place is HORRIBLE !!! I’ve had an appointment set for 2:15 pm TODAY ! Here now it’s 5:44 !! And NO CALL !!! I’ve been told MULTIPLE times after MULTIPLE CALLS !! that I would be reached out to, nobody ever called me back. Smh .. even my first visit I had gotten a late call like 1-2 hours AFTER the “scheduled appointment” & now this time it’s been over 3-4 hours 😭 im growing impatient, this company has some serious room for improvement !! Seriously .
I hate that people are using experiences from 30 years ago to decide if they like the place or not. Clearly there is new owners, new staff, new protocol since the 80's, 90's, even early 2000's.
This isn't for "bad behavior" kids or troubled kids. This is a mental health school and it literally saved my daughters life! I would fully recommend to anyone who's kid needs it,

I was going to lose my daughter before her 17th birthday. I was going to lose my daughter to depression. This place has been a saving grace! Nina is an absolute saint and has taught me and my daughter some amazing skills to use in life.
My 17 year old has been here for, going on 8 months, and now fully invested in her treatment and getting better, even initiating the idea of staying through the summer to get more tools and more credits for school. She has done more work on herself then most people have in their 40 years of life.
This place was once for the "bad teenagers" the "troubled" thats not even the main goal of the school anymore, its main focus is on mental health. Something that our young kids need MORE THEN EVER! Our kids are dying, we are losing them to suicide, I COULD NOT HAVE ASKED FOR A BETTER PLACE FOR HER TO BE GETTING HELP! That is after many many other facilities.
I can't believe this place is still open after all these years of abuse and Paris Hilton's documentary from 2020. Welcome to America I guess.
I'm so worried about my son not having received his medication despite being released from the Mind Springs hospital a week ago!
His cPTSD has been uncontrollable and despite being told his prescription had been called in, his pharmacy has never received it. I live out of state and I'm very worried. We've had trouble with Mind Springs before; therapists leaving without notice, problems not obtaining needed prescriptions, and more. A care manager was assigned but will be out until Sept 5 which is another week. We can't wait that long! This is unacceptable!
Really disgusting that after hundreds of reports of the absolute horror people endured here that they’re still open, not acknowledging anything, and not even fixing it. The kids that are sent here are already in a bad place mentally, the last thing they need is to be sent somewhere that they’ll have even more issues than they came in with. Although even if you were mentally stable this place is a disgrace. Shame on you and anyone that lets you stay open.
My step daughter was there for 3 months and all this place did was push her out the door with no help from the therapist. Kiara (the therapist) said she was not invested in treating her or getting to the root of the problem because she "didn't know how long she'd be there". When we tried to reach out the the higher ups about the actions of this therapist they ignored us with no reply to our emails. EMILY,(who was over this therapist) said they had done all they could do for her. THEN, THEY RELEASED HER WITH ONLY A SIGNATURE OF OUR 16 YR OLD!!! NO PARENT SIGNED OUR DAUGHTER OUT NOR DID THEY ASK FOR ID WHEN WE CAME TO GET HER. THEY BROKE THE LAW! MY DAUGHTER IS NOW BEEN ADMITTED SOMEWHERE HELP FOR PHYSICAL VIOLENCE ON FAMILY MEMEBERS. If anyone wants names of the people that doNT care about our kids being there Let me know. I have the names all the way to the CEO. It's time to go after the people of this money making scheme.

We brought my sister a big lululemon bag with new clothes and her glasses in it for overnight and they never gave it to her. They said they “lost” it and that was their excuse. So she’s been in sweaty clothes and hasn’t been able to see all day. They have cameras everywhere and didn’t look at them for her bag. They will find it or replace the stuff. Will not stop until she gets it back. This is supposed to be a safe environment so someone explain this. Will be calling the police if not resolved. If I could put zero stars, I would.
They should literally be shut down and these people should have any medical profession licenses revoked. They are utterly incompetent and don't care about doing anything to help you. My daughter has been a week without her medication, which is actually very dangerous to go without, and despite repeated calls, and them saying they're going to send it they just do NOTHING. Every single call involves waiting on hold for at least a half an hour, and then they just say they're sending the prescription, hang up the phone, and don't do a damn thing. This should be medical malpractice and these people need to lose their jobs. They suffer NO consequences for putting peoples' health and lives at risk.
This facility is honestly one of the worst mental facilities I’ve ever seen, and I’ve been through a lot being in the industry. The mental health workers are treated like less than human, because they don’t have degrees. They are put in unsafe working conditions, where they are constantly in harms way. I was personally even hit in the face with a mattress, kicked, punched, slapped. I was also assaulted by a patient where the higher ups just turned a blind eye. It’s unsafe. Patients are given quick fixes and are back on the streets quickly and end up having to go back in because they didn’t get the help they need. Not to mention how many HIPPA privacy policies they break. All of your information gets leaked. They favorite certain staff so those staff members get whatever they would want, and they don’t have to do as much work as the others. It’s honestly unprofessional. Not to mention they’ll work people 12 hours a day, 7 plus days a week. Oh and if you have an outside reason you can’t be to work, you’ll be written up or fired. Do yourself a favor as a patient and a potential staff member, don’t do it. Pick a better facility like Johnstown, Colorado Springs, denver springs, highlands.
This place has abandoned me time and again. I have been really struggling and therapist after therapist has left me right in the middle of some deep emotional pain. Lance told me he was leaving but would be gone and would be around to help me. I stared emdr with him to address past trauma, did one session and he calls to cancel our last two sessions and tries to tell me to have a good life. He just left me in a bit open pit of pain that and I had to put myself back together. I have been on antidepressants and dr after doctor has kicked me off their service and left me to traumatically come off antidepressants all on my own. The last time this happened I got fired from a job. I wonder what I’ll lose this time. I infinitely regret trying to lift myself out of my depression with this place that just made my abandonment issues worse. This place is broken
I’ve been using this psychiatry office since February. Every 30 days you get a call from a nurse practitioner (so not even the actual Dr themselves) to give progress on how your medications are going. Sometimes they miss the call, sometimes they call 20 minutes after the scheduled time. Sometimes they make these appointments without telling you what time/day that appointment will be. At first, It’s totally reasonable as medications are adjusted.
I would give zero stars at this point if I could. I canceled my 30 day check up last week due to finances and having to pay a copay every phone call. I called Tuesday to see if I could get a refill because I was out of my medications. They declined and stated I needed to pay my copay and have a visit. I told them I wasn’t financially able to do that at this time, but I needed the medications refilled. One medication I’ve been on for 10 years, another for 2 years, and one new medication within the last two months. They kept repeating I needed to pay a copay.
I’ve seen and complied with my Dr within the last 60 days, so to decline to refill a medication that will send me to the ER with severe serotonin withdrawals is medical negligence. They could have offered to fill a weeks worth until I got paid again but offered no solutions. I’ve called three times this week and when I called again to check up on the situation today, I asked for a supervisor or the Dr. I was told I’d have to wait another 24 hours. I’ve stated it’s an emergency and I will have to go to the ER and they care more about a copay than treatments for their patients. Do NOT use this facility if you have other options. They do not care about their patients and I can’t help but wonder if they realize the medical negligence they’re placing this Dr under. This facility should be reported to the boards.
My friend went here it was a horrible experience for her she almost died the staff were evil only 2 of the staff were supportive and helpful the rest were mean and mentally abusive
Horrible wait times, psychiatry appointment was scheduled for 3:40 today, July 24th, never received a phone call, so I called them and was told the reason for them not calling me was because my appointment had not been confirmed. They happened to call me Friday while I was at work to confirm it. So I missed it, but listened to their voicemail as soon as I got off and tried to cal them back Friday to confirm it and no one answered. So the lady today said she was going to transfer me to som who could ch

the appointment I was on hold for awhile, and then when someone finally did pick up, I had to start all over giving them my name, DOB, address, phone number, then she asked if I needed help with anything else, I said I would like to schedule a therapy appointment, she said hold on let me transfer you to someone. Was on hold, then on r again had to reconfirm everything I already have confirmed at least three times, all for the lady to say “let me transfer you to the scheduling department. I said okay, someone already told me that’s what they were doing and I was supposed to have a psychiatry appointment at 340, and at this point it’s 4:10 she said oh it’s fine they will call you surely. Still no one has picked up since and this phone call has now been a good 56 minutes :)) oh and horrible hold music

The only good thing about SalusCare is the groups we had. Also Nurse Bill, Crystal (tech),Iisha(tech), Lily(tech), And Meg(Tech)should get some type of recognition . Besides that there is nothing good about this place. I told the discharge planner that I was not ready to go home, she sent me home and 6 days later I was in the E.R and then sent right back there. 95% of the staff that was there was only there for the money. There were staff that asked you to share your struggles with them so they could turn around and tell other staff. I attempted in there and they waited a grand total of 6 hours to send me to Golisano. I then returned 4 days later and I was put on a 1:1. They put my "bed" in the hallway and some of the staff would just get up and walk away when they were supposed to be in arms reach away from me.They put you in "Quiet time" from 12-2 so the techs can sit in the hallway and scroll on tiktok. I was having a conversation with someone and a staff member made the comment " If they really wanted to kill themselves they would just do it already". The last time I was there was Sep 18th 2022, Right before Hurricane Ian but I hope with the remodel they changed some things. Also you guys really outdid yourselves with giving patients pillows, maybe access to actual deodorant and not deodorant wipes will be next. Actually toothbrushes should be first.
This place has a really kind staff, and the clinician I’m working with has been incredibly sweet.

Great place to start, if you’re looking to help yourself.
The worst place! Kayla, Dr. Nissel’s assistant is incredibly disrespectful, unprofessional and unqualified to serve as a doctor’s assistant. She called me to confirm an appointment and in her voicemail said “call back to confirm whenever you can”. I called back to confirm two days in a row and left voicemails. She then yelled at me that I should have called before 3 PM because that’s when she leaves the office. My appointment didn’t happen. Kayla needs to be fired. If you’re reading this, please be aware that a class action lawsuit is being organized.

awful terrible place, would rate 0 stars
if possible, literally a prison. no I wont give you feedback, you deserve to be closed and you should shut down now.
I was at the longterm in Palmer between the years 2018-2019 for 9 months and 17 days and had small stints at their longterm in 2018 and 2019 as well. The trauma this place gave me still haunts me to this day. Do not take your kids here. Take them anywhere else, heck Juneau youth services has a coed facility and an all boys and all girls facility and while it’s not perfect it’s a much better place than northstar. DO NOT TAKE YOUR KIDS HERE. DO NOT.
Absolute DISASTER of a company. I’ve been with them before the pandemic and reaching them has NEVER gotten better. Didn’t see my therapist for a while, called to try to set up appointments, and they never called me back. I’ve been calling everyday for the last 10 days and they still haven’t gotten back to me, even when I asked to see a supervisor. For someone with adhd, setting up appointments or anything else with them is an absolute NIGHTMARE. For a company that claims to care about mental health, they sure don’t show it in their responsiveness with their patients.
I was a victim at north star☹️ literally gross and dirty place👎👎 the staff is rude for no reason and abuse the children. NOT LGBT+ friendly place. I felt very uncomfortable!!! I'm 12 years old & please don't being your children here. They tried to starve me for not listening to them. This place should be illegal. It felt like prison. 🥺💔

0/10 worst experience ever
I don't understand all the negative reviews. I've been in there twice and so has my son. As for outpatient services I totally agree that it's a mess. One of the best ones they have here is this mental health facility. They have therapy sessions you get to see your doctor and they have arts and crafts and exercise classes and stuff. I do agree the outpatient services is terrible though
I only will write a bad review for an incompetent company. Unless you are forced to deal with Compass Health, AVOID THEM. They do not adhere to their scheduling. So don’t be surprised if the time they tell you is not correct. They don’t tell you when you owe money until you ask them. I need refills for medication which I’ve gotten filled twice. Been trying to contact them for 5 days now to request a refill and once I finally got connected she tells me about a 60 dollar copay I need to do every phone call that they refill my prescription. This was not once said to me or charged the previous two times. They say my card on file hasn’t worked( all my cards have no changed and work fine). So when we’re they going to let me know about this???? Prob never. AVOID USING COMPSS HEALTH. You’ll save yourself a lot of stress and annoyance which I figure is key to people who come there to help with their mental health

This was once a great psychiatric practice before the pandemic. Currently, I wouldn’t recommend anyone to come here it looks like a ghost town with barely anything going on. One doctor on hand seeing all the patients. I had a 9:30 appt I decided to just walk out.
I was sent here about a month ago I was only in there for a month before my parents did their research on the place. I wasn’t aloud to call my parents for the first few weeks and tell them what was happening. The girls were extremely rude, so much bullying and physical harassment. The staff don’t do anything about it. Plus the staff were all crackheads. The food is awful and they give you different proportions depending on your weight. There was pretty much nothing to do on the cottages unless you wanted to get tangled up in a whole bunch of drama. I feel my “treatment” didn’t do anything at all. You kinda have to lie your way out of there. I feel so bad for the girls and boys still in that facility definitely worse thing that’s ever happened to me. Please send your kid somewhere else if you aren’t trying to punish them.
I have never been here, and I thank god EVERYDAY I have never been sent here. I want EVERYONE looking into this school to know, this school is not what they say it is. Hell, there is a movie called Cruel Instruction that is based off of two girls who had HORRIBLE experiences at this school. I have no idea why this place is still open, hell I have no idea why ANY troubled teen industry school is still open. But please, listen to your children!!!! DO NOT SEND THEM TO ANY PLACE LIKE THIS!!!
I went here when I was 16 years old. Thank god insurance fell through and I was only there for a month. I felt terrible for the girls that were already there for almost 2 years. I remember a girl was on the phone with her mom and as soon as she started crying saying how she hated it there and staff grabbed the phone from her hand and hung up then yelled at her and sent her to her bed not letting her get any food that night. Then i remember some of the little girls were yelling because staff called them words which were very inappropriate for such tiny ears and 3 big men staff tackled them and pinned their faces to the ground. This place is not safe for any child. Please parents, if your child is acting out and you are thinking about sending them here, please don't. It will only make your child hate you because you wont see it from their eyes how they are abused. The staff only let you hear and see the fake smiles they want. Please just try family therapy with your child, try other facilities. Just please don't put your child in this place. Please.

I have been seeing Dr Eagle for 4 years. I agree with other reviews that the administration staff always seems frazzled. The nurses are lovely and I have only had good conversation with the other doctors the few times I saw them. I am SO thankful for the telehealth appointments so I don't have to go to the office every month!

Honestly I rate them a 0, I was abused and neglected while I stayed there. Please, find a better option because this place isn’t right. They need to be shut down
I was an inpatient here in September 2021 so I was 13. The night staff were amazing loved them but everyone else literally seemed like they were there to babysit us, I was in that place for 3 nights 4 days and you wanna know what I got out of it? a paper list of coping skills and a composition notebook. please parents I am begging you if your child is in a bad mental state do not take them here and make it worse.
I have been going here since I was a child, that’s 20 years!!!!! And today enough is enough. Welcome to compass health where you never hear from your doctor when you really need them and don’t expect to get those refills you need either!!! It’s been weeks after my appointment and still no refill on one of my medications that have serious withdrawals. I’ve gone 1 whole week without even after I reached out to these people numerous times. THEY DON’T CARE!! But I do so please take this warning and find somewhere else!

When I was 16 this place filled me with antipsychotic drugs, I stopped going to follow up appointments and refused the medications, and was able to continue with my life as anyone else could. However, due to the drug pushing and unqualified doctors, the medications I was given (mainly seroquel) have left horrible side effect that I am miserable with everyday, 7 years later. I never needed those medications and the only alternative they would give me were benzos or stronger things, which destroyed me mentally. They convinced me I needed these medications. They convinced me I was broken and couldn't be helped. If I didn't step back and refuse their "treatments" I would be nothing but a mindless zombie with no mental capacity. I can't begin to imagine how many lives this prison has destroyed. Keep your loved ones away and get them the help they need.
Very kind staff and wonderful waiting are you I bet it runs into the issue of staff not staying for very long very high patient turnover rate to different doctors.
I can't speak 4 all thse negative reviews but I was just layed off from a Mind Springs program that treated clients and staff fabulous. Truly caring about their well being and their future. It's not easy being a worker in the mental health field, I saw a review that said a staff member said their job Was "so hard!" WELL IT IS..but I do say, thats not ok to tell a client..especially a child, the staff member must have been so tired! And btw We are HUMAN n we make mistakes, especially when we get worn out n unfortunately sometimes it affects clients. But that doesnt mean we don't CARE..I learned so much from this company and im truly grateful to have spent time there! God just has another plan for me right now n that's ok! I hope people don't judge all Mind Springs programs by these negative reviews...they really are trying hard but they are human! I will miss being a part of it!!! I know the new Big Bosses are working hard to make sure all clients feel safe, cared for and have a wonderful life changing experience.
If I could give this place 0 stars, I absolutely would. They do not want to help, if you're looking for someone to work with your children this isn't the place.

This organization is a 501 3c pipeline. They have no desire or drive to treat disabled children. I was in the process of placing my son in a government facility the rest of his life. It's a long process. They have to find a place for your child. Sometimes out of state. All because they were convincing me this was autism or behavioral.

I told them my son's physical manifestions of psychosis. At that point it was OBVIOUS. His face and eyes were distorted. Pupils dilated/ eyes black. (his eyes are blue) Bottom jaw shaking in unnatural ways. They WOULD not treat my son. They kept blaming autism. I was so terrified that I had an exorcism performed on my son. I knew it WASN'T autism or behavioral. Everything, even his face was different. I had to find an expert with decades of experience to diagnose and treat my son. On something that should have been easy for these "educated" doctors. He checked every box for psychosis yet they still denied it claiming autism. It's seriously concerning their lack of willingness to treat an autistic child in crisis. I pray you all never find yourselves in my situation. With doctors offering your type of "care".
I've been an inpatient before and outpatient here for a couple of years now. I'm giving Mind Springs 2 stars because I appreciate the work that my therapist has put into helping me up to this point. She's worked really hard to help me and I do think that I've improved significantly since meeting with her.

That being said, I often need to meet with a doctor about every 6 months to renew my prescription and there are several problems every time. Scheduling is difficult with my 9-5 work schedule, so they try to make it easier by scheduling zoom meetings. I never receive a zoom ID so that I can enter my meeting and when I call to ask, the front desk is always busy and unable to answer. I've missed more than one appointment because of this issue.

Anything from scheduling to renewing prescriptions is difficult. I can see that staff here are burnt out, and I'm sure its due to the overwhelming number of patients that they have. Maybe this is a good place to start if you need, but not to continue with personalized/individual support.
ZERO STARS IF I COULD!

First appointment was a disorganized mess, like none of the admin staff working in the office had a clue about anything. I was there about 3 hours for a 15 minute visit. When leaving I wanted to make sure prescriptions were sent in and the lady at the front desk (who we had to hear mispronounce "kiosk" at least 100 times) ignored me standing there until she asked in a very nasty tone what I needed. Well, NONE of the meds were sent so I spent hours calling days after to get them filled and still one missing but I gave up.

Fast forward to today and my 11:00 telemed appt is 3.5 hours late as of 2:30. Nobody called to confirm or check me in, so it seems the appt was not properly scheduled when I called 2 weeks prior to set up although it showed in the portal. I keep being told the doctor us running behind, but this is ridiculous. They keep saying I'm next when I call at every hour mark.

I have spent the time waiting trying to find a new provider because I can't continue at a place that has so little care or regard for patients paying for service. Worst medical facility I've ever dealt with, and that's no exaggeration. It is unfortunate because doctors I've seen are not bad at all, it's 100% the administrative mess they have to work within.
My visit was 1/19/2023. I read the reviews prior, crossed my fingers and hoped my experience would turn out different. Unfortunately it did not! The entire visit was confusing, the staff was confused, the provider I saw presented unaware, blank. Every detail mentioned in every review is 100% accurate. The facility should immediately be shut down. This location is not capable of providing health care of any sort to anyone. I will be the patient who takes the next step beyond writing this review and contact the department of health. I pay for access to health care not incompetence and compliancy. You are encourage to seek care else where.

The doctor was ignorant. Dr. uses personal questions to create emotional responses to easily diagnose patients doctor also caused me to have anxiety attack. After leaving the appointment.

Last Friday I waited 8 1/2 hours for a tele med appointment with dr stein that never occurred despite my calling at least 3 times to tell them I was waiting hours and hours for my appointment. This is the second time I waited over 7 1/2 hours for a tele med appointment at compass that never happened despite my confirming the appointment and also participating in a screening intake call. The other month I only waited 2 1/2 hours. But still that in itself is ridiculous.

I also recently suffered a severe drug interaction caused by my most recent practitioner Kandace Eagle. I was physically sick and emotionally dysregulated for six weeks because of the drug interaction. This could have been prevented- on several occasions over 3 years I reminded her I have a serotonin sensitivity. And can’t tolerate meds like ssris that increase serotonin. She carelessly prescribed a serotonin increasing anti anxiety medicine that when combined with my antidepressant causes excess serotonin or in my case serotonin syndrome. I had diarrhea, shortness of breath, extreme anxiety, restlessness, sleeplessness, irritability, and a short fuse… All this caused by a poor anti anxiety drug choice made by my practitioner.

If I could give zero stars I would.

If I had Any other choice of psychiatrist within my insurance network I would use them.
I came here in January of 2021. I came with the expectation of being helped, but instead was far more traumatized than before. I’ve gone through intense therapy to try and heal from this “therapeutic” hospital. Staff blackmail children, rights are withheld, communication with family is token away once you start talking about what’s happening. You’re stripped of youre rights. Maintenance doesn’t keep up on their job, the pictures they show you, are not how it actually is. It’s not as cuddly and cute as pictured, by any means. It’s unclean, unsanitary. The list truly goes on and on. But parents, please do not send your children here
Cannot fathom why this place is still open. Abusive and negligent. The staff here are not equipped to be taking care of the mentally ill. If you take a loved one here or submit yourself, you are subjecting them to the worst kind of treatment and behavior. This place should be shut down. No treatment at all would be better than being a patient here. You are worse off for being treated here, regardless of circumstance.
Had a great experience with Dr. Sheena Spurlock and her staff. I had all kinds of issues with the teledoc (user error) but they worked after hours to get me on the call. I'm excited about continuing to work with them.
If I could give them a lower score I would. I never receive calls on my appointment time, sometimes I dont even receive one at all. Patient care coordinators are great but only ever talked to the psychiatrist twice; the patient care coordinators might aswell make more than the psychiatrist. Sometimes medication is not sent to the pharmacy so expect to have withdrawal symptoms from the medication you are on until someone actually answers the phone and fixes the issue. You are very much just a number to them nothing else.
I've had to sit on hold for an extreme amount of time because of an issue with every single appointment I've had with these people. Multiple times they have just forgotten to call in prescriptions entirely. As I write this I have been on hold for 30 minutes... they are also consistently late for appointments. The only way to get someone on the phone in under 30 minutes is to press 1 for new patient but as soon as they know your not a new patient, they transfer you to a line that takes your info for a "call back" but I have NEVER been called back... this place is going to drive me to go inpatient
The staff walk by with their lunch that was delivered from a restaurant right by you. The dinner is soggy, lunch is cold. Breakfast is the same thing everyday. The doctor doesn’t keep their word. On one of the units you have nothing to do but watch tv and sleep. You can’t sleep in your room without a light on and the light is right above the head of the bed. They don’t let you have any more then 3 outfits.
Do not use Compass Health. If I could give zero stars I would. For my first tele-health appt the doctor called over an hour after my scheduled time. He told me my prescription would be sent to the pharmacy within 2 hours of my appointment time and it wasn't sent in until 7pm that night. My pharmacy required a call back from the doctor to confirm he was aware of a drug interaction. After several calls to compass health and hours on hold (it is impossible to reach anyone) I found out from the pharmacy that the Dr. had cancelled my prescription without notifying me.

Several days later I was supposed to meet with the same doctor again to discuss what happened, a "fill in" doctor said he would send the prescription in again and make a note to the pharmacy this time. This did not happen. So yet again, I was dealing with the same issue. After several calls, more time on hold, emails to compass health representatives, and messages through their portal I was finally able to pick up my prescription, almost two weeks after I was prescribed it.

Their representatives are not helpful and lack compassion. They are short staffed and do not communicate with each other or their patients. DO NOT USE THEM.
Well I was a patient and let me tell you after the Corona everything was virtual and on the phone and I well kept my appointments by phone. And come to know that since May of 21 until 9:00-22 they were doing appointments and all that time I have Medicaid when I started with them and from May 2021 we're seeing me and in October of this year they tell me that my Medicaid wasn't paying All this time I started with them they could have seen the first time of the second mind you that they were in charge of Medicaid and now they're putting me in collections saying I owe them All this time I'm going there and they're calling me for the appointments and they need to charge my insurance and now they want me to pay this amount of money they are ridiculous they need to be put out of business and this needs to be dealt with seeing people and then not charging their insurance and then trying to make the people pay out of their pocket it is
Worst mental health facility in Dade county. Horrible logistics and nobody answers the phone when you call. Nobody responds to emails. And the psychiatrists barely spend 5 minutes with you on the webcam call. An you get assigned a different random Doctor each month so you cannot even build a rapport with one Doctor.

Choose another provider, this place gives low quality of service and the Doctors treat you like cattle. Zero empathy or concern for their patients.

UPDATE: This corrupt office is using bots that post fake reviews. Just read how vague and similar so many reviews are and how devoid of any description of the diagnosis and so forth. Trust me, this place is a clown-show and offers a low caliber of care. Make this place your LAST choice. Try ANY other place first, before Compass Health.

These clowns dont listen or validate my concerns and just want to increase the dosage on the same old medicine that is not working. 2 pills dont work? Take 3. 3 dont work? Take 4! That is their hare-brained approach.

Please for the love of god and all that is good Please tell police officer not to take you or your loved ones to salus care the patients here receive no help for their mental illnesses except for being forced to take medication the rooms are absolutely cold causing your love one to freeze every night the staff abuse the patients. LCSO took my mother here a while back and she was traumatized by the entire ordeal received no help at all we are thankful the second time that LCSO took her to park royal instead where she got the help she needed please don’t give money to these peoples they are abusers and will only traumatize your love ones
Incredibly unprofessional. I have had a back-to-back appointments canceled by the doctor with zero warning or alert that I had to call into and find out for myself that they were canceled. This office will lie to you and say that they called leaving you with new co-pays for consultations that never happened and no prescription continuation for medication which may be required for you to function in your day-to-day life. Practice is an absolute soulless joke with zero care for the client. If you value your mental health and don't want to get stuck 2 to 4 weeks without any medication having to start over seek better help elsewhere.

If you're a medical practitioner hiring compass for answering services their agents are outright rude and offer next to no follow-up often transferring you to just another agent it's the Comcast support of healthcare.
I have literally called this place over 20 times and can't ever get anyone to talk to... I get automatically diverted to the voicemail, I have left literally 17 voicemails with all my info and nobody has ever contacted me.... It's ridiculous so unprofessional
I made an appointment for my child last week Thurs with a doctor Michelle Desouza via telemedicine. It was 30 minutes past the appointment time and I called to inquire if the appointment was still going to happen. I was told by the answering service that the doctor was running a couple of hours behind and that the appointment was still going to happen and for us to answer any calls from numbers that we don't recognize because it would be the doctor. We waited and there was no call from the doctor or the office to say that the appointment was cancelled on their end and for us to reschedule at the very least because we understand things happen. We did not get any call, it was like the appointment didn't even happen. I called the next day which was Fri to again inquire about what happened with the appointment and no answer was provided. It was like the appointment never existed and that is very unprofessional and unkind. We are working parents and had to make adjustments in our schedule and for them not to even call the next day to say anything at that point was disrespectful. I asked to speak with a supervisor and I was told Anna would call me back within 24- 48 hours and guess what? I am at the 72 hour window with no call back from this so called imaginary supervisor after calling for the 3rd day since the dropped appointment. I took the time to write this long review of the poor service from the doctor and the so call supervisor. The message I am getting here is my kid and his needs are not important. He is very important and worth the time and care from the right doctor. I will say everyone that has answered the phones at compass health have been pleasant and helpful- they I can say are doing their jobs. I will never ever recommend this facility to anyone. I see now why the review is 2.8. That should have been my first clue, shame on me for looking past those low ratings.
This place is horrible. I know people who’ve been there, and they said it was absolutely traumatizing. Plus when people try to get their family/friends out of there cause their time there is over, they won’t let them.
It was the worst Is therapy experience in my life, never use this company if you have a choice. I would rate it 0 stars if i would a chioce.

I would give this place a -3 star review. My wife had to go involuntary to this crummy place for her first time receiving mental health treatment. She was scared the entire time she was locked up here. The building is dirty, the beds are no better than plywood with a pad over top, the food is terrible which meant my wife could hardly eat which meant they gave her negative ratings about her recovery and forced her to stay longer, the staff is rude, and these people have no compassion or empathy for what the patients and families are going through. They are here for a paycheck not because they want to help people. Its not much better than being in a prison (which is what i thought this place was when i pulled in).
Incredibly unprofessional.
Probably the worst experience I’ve ever had. I’ve heard great things about minds springs over the years and was extremely disappointed of how much they down played my situation. Not only that, they canceled my therapy sessions after my psych evaluation and told me they would only do medicine management. My therapy sessions were canceled after one session and no one ever checked in like they said to see if I was responding well to the medicine they prescribed. I could write a novel and everything wrong I experienced with them over a course of six weeks.I would highly suggest looking else where for help.
Its bad, Apparently they were abusing their patients
They have gotten better. I've been with them since 2013. Changing my rating from 1 star to five star.
neglectful
dont do it. it's not worth it. im begging u. find a better option.
There customer service representative are so disrespectful !! I never experience this before!! Yesterday was the first day we visit them. It maybe our last time.
They are horrible at returning calls and replying to voicemails. I have been trying to contact them for 2 weeks and still no response back from anyone.
I really think researchers should develop newer non-lethal side effects medications that don't cause massive weight gain or sexual disorders or dehydration, tiredness body shakes or facial disfigurement or mental confusion or diabetic episodes or dementia episodes symptoms focus more on the brain health combined within these medications supportive adjusted dosages of B12 & Omega 3 & thiamine & folic acid & niacin & lite Potassium & Ester C & testosterone & libido supplements as well just a suggestion. It really would help so many that are literally trapped. To using these lethal substances there must be some new innovative solutions. Whereas general input can be very helpful to enforce these changes. Without input there is no possibility of these changes to take forth. Ignorance can be damaging. More named petitions Senators oriented endorsements. It can happen. Just again a suggestion
Work
The doctors, nurses and staff were so good and kind and I feel like they genuinely wanted the best for our son. When it came to his medication changes they walked us through every step of the way and took our concerns into consideration. Our son went in having a hard time and I feel like they gave us our boy back.
I've received Excellent care in the 4 months I've been going here. They Really tailor my program to My Needs 100% of the time.
Horrible service. They routinely book appointments without notifying the patient of the time. Then they call on unknown numbers at random times and bill you for missing appointments. Absolutely ridiculous. I have no idea how these people are still in business.

On top of that, I submitted insurance and was told I couldn't schedule an appointment until had a referal. I was running out of meds, so I asked to just book an appointment without insurance (to pay out of pocket, like I had been until I submitted the info 2 months prior). I was refused and told it was not possible. Apparently they'll refuse paying customers. I wish it was possible to give less then one star.
The pharmacy at this place is truly terrible. The people who work there are rude and slow. The average waiting time for me to get my medication is an hour. They should be let go and replaced by people who actually like people and who are willing to help those in vulnaravle positions.
I was in this facility for 1 hour I seen three different people they told me at the end of seeing three people and being sent upstairs that I have to go to a Maryland facility because I'm a Maryland residence not sure why they didn't tell me that in the front desk when I first seen the lady in the front and show her my Maryland ID I was sent upstairs to mrs. Leftwich she was very unprofessional very unhelpful Snappy bad attitude she gave me a referral to a Maryland office with no address just a telephone number I called the number no answer people like Miss Leftwich should not deal with people who have mental health issues I see why they want people at the door for weapons not to say I'm a violent person but if Miss Leftwich treat everybody like she treated me I see why they might see some people as a threat if she doesn't like the line of work she's in I believe she should choose another career path what she doesn't have to deal with people regardless of how I mean she was and snappy she was I still tried to remain calm and patiently wait for the referral which took a long time most of my day is gone now thanks to miss Leftwich and two other staff members who gave me the run-around just to tell me that I have to go to Maryland to get medication I haven't slept in 3 days my anxiety is going crazy all over the place I've been dealing with depression depression and I'm in between psychiatrist right now and they show no sympathy whatsoever I'm very disgusted with the way they handle the situation and I'm sad to say that they were of my own race I believe if they weren't black women I would have been treated better
I've been depending on their advocacy and continuation following a schizo affected adult with limited means.

. They lowered his meds to the point of not working.
Most recently brought to court and they didn't coordinate an intake.
There is a disconnect in providing services via Skype and actual useful mental health. Citing HIPAA is bull.

Sad to say I'm so very disappointed, my trust is wavered. I can only imagine if I was the client, I'd be contemplating suicide.
No feelings of connection at all. It's sad. Please reinvigorate the staff and have them step up.

Colorado has a responsibility to it's customer and citizens. This program is lacking what it set out to be.
It's funded. How about help the clients when they can't and don't help themselves!?

Now four hours away, the West springs hospital in Grand junction is affiliated for Colorado Medicaid recipients. Please Lord let them open and accept patients from New Mexico to Wyoming. Perfect opportunity to get it right for the next generation.
My daughter sees Dr. Knight there and she is WONDERFUL! She and the staff are really great and work well with her.
Understanding the policy and procedures but why have each parent to sign a form to make sure you bring your child to their appointment and to make sure you are there 15 mins. Before the appointment time only to wait between 30-45mins before you can see someone.
My son spent a month there. Very nice and helpful until the insurance money maxed out, then not so helpful to say the least...
I've been here multiple times. Best place ever. Everyone is nice.
This is emergency urgent care mental health, one step above going to the hospital. As such, it is designed to serve a particular population. It is designed to help those who can't really function without the correct meds, and so need their meds now. They will help you if you know something is really wrong, but haven't been able to get diagnosed yet. They will help you if you run out of your meds, have no more refills, and can't get it from your usual provider in a timely matter. They will help you even if the problem is that the meds you do have are not working for you properly. As it is actually the clinic of the municipal department of mental health, it is for all, so cost is not an issue. However, they do take your insurance information.

You come in. They do diagnosis and medicine perscription in one day. But, like other urgent care, plan to be there all day. Care is triaged (so depending on the comparitive severity of the problems of the others who comes in that day) you may be asked to come in on the following day. Also, just like urgent care, they want make sure you have a regular caregiver.

Like most facilities that are overloaded and unpredictable, the staff are tired and may be irritated, but they are caring. I have seen them use what seemed like their own funds to make a quick ramen snack for people who have been waiting for hours.

The thing about this place is... when you do get to see the doctor...they are fresh, very good, very focused and they take their time to fully understand you and what you need. This is not just a refill station, they will give you a real assessment, and make an independent assessment of what meds might help you the most. Then you leave with your script.
I wish I could give this place zero stars. After going there for a medication refill, they denied me seeing their doctor. The so called social worker tried saying I didn't have an issue, therefore refused to let me be seen. This place is outdated the staff are awful rude and completely incompetent. Unless you are homeless or can't afford going elsewhere - stay away at all costs!
