Lovely little walking route along the water! Great for a dip on a summer day and still beautiful even with some gloom.

Gorgeous quiet pebble beach...

One of my favorite places in Victoria. Wonderful place to relax and enjoy the tides coming in or out.

Great views on a sunny day

Nice place to walk beside the ocean. Great beach. Ummm... not for real swimming - still the cold Juan de Fuca waters.

it’s a lil tiny area, can be busy when it’s warmer but it’s a great start to a walk around the island

Perfect place for a dip if you are looking at a natural way to get a dopamine boost. And a free cryotherapy!!!
The bay is surrounded by rocks and totally uncovered at low tide, however when the tide is in the high, it’s possible to swim over the rocks and get a nice real swimming good training. Or you may enjoy staying within the boundaries of the « pool » which is for the most part about 5ft deep and still be a proud swimmer in a very safe spot. Lots of local swim groups visit here in the morning: cold swim addicts (however normally by the breakwater), cold *** swimmers etc as well as regulars like myself. If you are new to cold swimming I’m happy to share my experience. Cheers!
