A relatively easygoing hike (as far as the ECT goes).
You'll spend the majority of your time strolling through cozy wooded sections with mostly gentle hills, but a lot of roots, stones, and muddy patches. Plenty of boardwalks, but some are a little busted up. The lighthouse on The Spout Path can be seen from the north side of the trail.
The highlight of the hike is as you come around South Head and get a stunning view of the coastline to the south, including islands and shapely peninsulas. Lots of nice spots to stop for a break around there.
