When you walk into the market entrance for the first time, the smell of fish hits you. But it gets better, with some local help. The market offers all sorts of sea food options. Buy fresh and get them to cook for you on the other side of the road. Enjoy the park, sit and eat.
A wonderful experience to buy fish at the market and then have it cooked to your choosing by various small enteprising mobile kitchens
Very interesting and authentic place. Seafood delicious and fresh, cooking service in one of the bars 200-300 bahts, depending on weight and kind of seafood.
If you love seafood, this is the place. You buy fresh from the market and have it cook at the restaurants outside. It’s not really cook your way since they have already choices of how you want it cooked.
Amazing SeaFood Market and was absolutely great , colouful and lots of sea tood alive and absolutely fresh on the day ..Also lots of dried sea food too..
Very busy Market and it certainly is an experience in itself ;)
There are also stalls to cook what you have bought the way you wqnt it prepared at bht30 a kilo ..
I have never been to a better one than this and its chomical really as akl sorts of sea creatures jumping up and down from everywhere and do be prepared that they may jump on you too if too close ;)

Busy market nice to walk there and look around. I stayed on another island north of Don Det with Lao friends. We went shopping for meat and groceries. There's also an ATM at the Lao Development Bank
You can buy fresh sea foods. Quality products and fair price.
