Nice area to hang out with friends!
JAX beach near Jacksonville Beach pier is a great place to catch the full moon rising over the ocean. The beach is wide especially at low tide. As a photographer, I love coming here. So many photo opportunities for anyone. The bonus is the off season when parking is free next to the pier.
I love going down to Jax Beach, especially by the pier, to relax and unwind after a long day. Plus if you get hungry there are plenty of great restaurants around.
Sometimes you need to spend an hour sitting in the beauty that God created with no distractions

Peaceful in the morning; the great and powerful ocean meets the limitless sand while the giant, fiery orb gives its first light to the endless shore ..
Not the best beach out there but I like it because the location is convenient and there are plenty of restaurants /bars nearby
