Definitely beautiful beach like most of them all are in Florida the pier is absolutely beautiful and great to walk out to. The sand is so soft out here. I traveled all the way from Connecticut just to visit Jacksonville Beach again wonderful place. Public restrooms in showers are available. They do charge to walk on the pier though I'm not sure how much because I didn't go.

What a beautiful day to go to the beach!!! 88 degrees on November 10th absolutely gorgeous. Tons of jelly fish everywhere during my visit here. You could see them clearly from the pier. The crew on the pier were extremely nice and friendly. Felt very welcoming. Thank you guys for a great visit!°

I have visited early, and visited late in the day. There is always super friendly staff to welcome visitors and it’s always a wonderful break from a stressful day. And, sometimes we forget that the pier is a great place as the sun goes down and the moon rises. Photography opportunities abound as well the chance to very likely catch fish. If you’re considering a visit to the Jackaonville Beach Pier, I’d strongly suggest doing it !

What a beautiful place to take a walk. Heads up though, it costs $2 to walk or $5 to fish per person. They do offer snacks, drinks, bait, covered picnic tables, and bathrooms for those who have paid to enter.

I watched numerous fishermen catch flounder and bluefish while I was out there.

Beautiful view and wonderful structure.

I took my grandson on the pier for the first time! It cost $1.00 for me, but he was free. There were lots of people walking, and lots of people fishing. My grandson got to see a fish being caught. The view was amazing. When the sun disappeared it got chilly.
Overall it was a good experience. I’d like to go back.

If you walk the pier, you sample a bit of Jacksonville's former and current history. For a slight admission fee, you can walk out past (or join) fishermen, picnic tables, hanging chairs, the occasional pelican or sea gull. There are great views of the coastline and the waters. A concession stand at the entrance sells snacks and drinks or bring your own and make a picnic of it.

I love Jax Beach. It is probably one of the cleanest, nicest city beaches I've ever been to. I've spent alot of time over the last year at Jax Beach and surrounding neighborhood. Never a disappointment, always people jogging biking and enjoying themselves. It's beautiful and lively, and plenty to do and see, but not over done or over built. Beautiful people, soft sand and warm clear water....best time to go???? Absolutely sunrise... Funnest time to go???? Definitely midday to evening weekends... Always gonna be one of my hot spots. Go get wet!
