Was deeply impressed by the incredible delicious food and excellent service. The waiter and waitress was so kind and warm hearted, they arranged a surprise for an Indian girl for her birthday,and all the customers were following them,singing for her …I saw tears dropped in her eyes.My family members’ birthday this year should be in this restaurant,no doubt!
Wir waren auf der Suche nach einem ruhigen Platz zum Essen, den haben wir bei "Far East" definitiv gefunden. Die Kellner waren freundlich und den Kindern hat es geschmeckt. Leider einen Stern Abzug, weil bei meinem "Fried Chili Chicken" das Fleisch versalzen war. Da das restliche Essen aber geschmacklich gut war, sehe ich das als kleinen "Unfall". Zuhause würden wir sagen der Koch muss verliebt sein.😊 Alles in allem ein kleiner, aber feiner Geheimtipp.

I can accept if I was incorrect about the people sat next to us as this was just an observation and I may have been wrong. But the staff members response when we tried to get help definitely was not good and my friend was very annoyed by her response (in Chinese) and it definitely dampened the mood. And it really didn’t feel like the staff member was stood there for ‘a few minutes’. She came over, spoke to my friend in Chinese and said something that left her annoyed, and then when I asked a question about the menu she said she will come back later when we are ready.
Also this doesn’t take away from the fact the whole service felt like we were being rushed and disregarded customer experience over sales. Having been to other restaurants in Chinatown the service was definitely sub-par compared to others. I have never felt the sense of being this rushed before.
Another observation is when the staff member took our food one of our plates clearly wasn’t finished. It wouldn’t hurt to at least ask if we had finished the plate that clearly had food on still?
Again I’m just speaking my mind and giving feedback on how these situations could be approached differently with a bit more politeness and care to give a better customer experience.

Service was awful and rushed. You definitely just get the sense that they want you to eat quickly, pay, and then leave. We asked a woman questions about the menu and she just said "I will come back when you are ready" so was useless. (Definitely not a language barrier issue as she said the same thing to my friend in Chinese...) And the table next to us received the wrong dish and was told they could have it for free if they kept it which they said yes to. But, then the chef after said he will make it again as they can't have it for free... Which clearly shows they prioritise sales over customer experience.
From the owners previous replies to reviews they clearly lack responsibility. There is an obvious reason this place has nearly 3 stars overall whilst other restaurants in Chinatown are rated much higher. Two words: Customer Experience.

Delicious Chinese brekkie/brunch. Good service and friendly. It’s a casual diner that serves no-fuss hearty dishes. I’d like to recommend the sesame ball and Youtiao as well as the Wantons made by them. They deserve a higher score!
We really really enjoyed the Chinese breakfast here! We are super surprised about the google rating of this restaurant. We will definitely come back again. The breakfast is so authentic and is very rare to get Chinese breakfast in the UK.
The restaurant was packed with Asians in the morning, immediately approves the food quality of this restaurant! Highly recommend!

Bring the food out, put it down hard and don't say anything
The food is very disheveled unlike a restaurant.
Poor quality food for the price they charge: 1 bowl of Lamp Soup £16.80, 1 bowl of Lamp Offal Soup £12.80, 1/2 Roast Duck £24.80 (no dipping sauce even though I asked for them), plus service charge £7.35
They take it also expensive and have service charge and I paid before eating, but the way they serve is horrible. I try to always smile from the time I order until when I go, just hope they smile back once.
Each of us has times when we are wrong, instead of trying to blame, accept the truth to correct. I have nothing more to say to this owner.

I cannot fathom why some of the reviews are as bad as they are. We had the most amazing breakfast experience here!
We had a prawn wonton soup; hands down the most delicate and delicious wonton soup I have ever eaten. Also a delicious savoury tofu dish & deep fried dough stick. The warm soy milk was fresh & went perfectly with the rest of the meal.
The staff are super friendly and kind. Also don't forget it's cash only!
