Great place, great food and good service. The place is a bit snug for us on the chunkier side,but that didn't stopped me to have a great time. the interactive tables are so much fun!!!! We also did the make your own sushi dragon... highly recommend it!
Great food with lots of options in the middle of China Town. Fish and dumplings were amazing!
Great food and service. Even though we are in our seventies we enjoyed playing the games. Food was very quick to arrive. I suggest you order just one or two dishes at a time. The instant we pressed the button for assistance a member of staff came. Would recommend this as a pre-theatre dinner as it is an 8 min walk to the Apollo Theatre to see The Time Travellers Wife as we did.
AYCE hot pot here is definitely top notch. I’m an infamous hot pot lover, and honestly wasn’t expecting to be served fresh vegetables (it’s a part of nature in all-you-can-eat places in general I assume) but yes, everything was fresh. I could instantly realise that they really care about what they serve to the customers. Price is reasonable as well, £66 for two people, all you can eat with a bottle of chinese sweet tea is such a deal. Seriously can’t wait to go back!
Really lovely and kind and generous staff .The menu is extensive We ordered four dishes and all of them were tasty and full of bold flavours. Portion size was decent too. A good discovery and will happily go again.
Last night I had the best meal I've had in a long time. This place is a hidden gem. We had lamb skewers, follower by mixed food in spicy sauce (dry) where we picked out own meats and veg to be put on a massive platter covered in a delicious spicy sauce, I couldn't stop eating it. The mapo tofu was one of the best I've ever had, even my partner whose not the biggest fan of tofu texture loved it, had exactly the right amount of pork mince. The waitress candy was exceptional, friendly and kind, helped us to make the best decisions for us. They accommodated our two year old who doesn't like spicy food. The woodear fungus- was exactly how I like it. 10 stars. Candy told us to come back and try the traditional hot pot and also to try the coconut one, we will definitely come back to this restaurant. I cannot express how happy this food made me. Thanks Hans I will be back!!
We were gifted the bottomless sushi as a Christmas present. I did read the reviews before we went and so was already expecting to be disappointed and very much was. The restaurant is very dark. The staff member showed us to our table and explained how the screens worked. She then left us to it and when I say that I wanted to smash the screen through frustration...!!! I could not scroll down to the bottom of the menu without accidentally opening up a food item. The bottomless menu is quite limited. We ordered 6 dishes as suggested. I wanted a tap water which wasn't on the menu so used the 'call service' button twice but nobody came. Eventually I managed to call someone over but that defeats the point of the feature. Once your food has arrived, you have to push all the plates out of the way in order to use the screens again. We tried playing ping pong but the lag was too delayed so that was pointless. As it was a paid for gift and the restaurant had the voucher code, we got up to leave at which point the waiter said there is usually a service charge..... What service?!
Quality of food was below average, we enjoyed the Szechuan chicken but that was pretty much it. Was most looking forward to the pork belly but that was 'unavailable'.

The staff were really ignorant and dismissive. They avoided any eye contact, had no manners and definitely wouldn’t hurt to smile.
The table cloth was dirty and they just laid a piece of paper on top to soak the sauces. The plates, bowls & cutlery was really used, to the point it was chipped and white had turned off blue-grey.
The food was ok, but I’ve had better dim sum. Bill came to over £60 for two for lunch and they had the nerve to charge 10% service.
The food wasn’t awful, but based on experience, the state of the cutlery, I would not recommend and wouldn’t come back if you paid me.

I'm quite disappointed to be honest. The egg and mushroom noodle soup I ordered was clearly just an instant ramen soup. No sight of any mushroom or vegetable, just water, egg and broth powder. (paid £9.80) from the receipt we paid for something labelled "Koran bibimbap" for £10.80. Was it the minuscule portion of kimchi that was served as an appetizer without us asking for it? It's a rip off. Is it even legal to serve something that was not ordered and make people pay for it in the UK? Finally the house red wine (we paid £26.80) is the Campo Viejo Rioja Garnacha Red Wine from Sainbury (£7.50).
I ordered one of their secret menu items and I was amazingly impressed. Great portions for the price. Rice was cooked well and was paired with the lovely meat and egg. A very filling meal
Stereotypical mid-tier Chinese - tasty and greasy. Where guilt and mild nausea follows later. My roast duck was suspect, but the dumplings and noodles were delish. NOT a fan of the gratuitous 10%+ service charge when it's the bare minimum of one - fast-paced, robotic, and curt. Overall, just good enough for a late night feed.
Me and my friends wanted dim sum , our go to is usually next door but as we arrived around 1pm on a Saturday it was packed so we decided to try this place out.
I must say I loved it the portion sizes were slightly bigger . Especially the Thai style chicken feet, it was a bigger than all of the places we have went to. I also recommend their xo sauce with turnip cake.... it's fried with turnip cake with xo sauce , egg and some beansprouts. The century egg congee was perfect. The xiaolongbao was massive l
as it It had a thicker wrap it was very juicy. Overall I really enjoyed our experience and would deffo go back !!!

Had the afternoon tea option. Prebooked this with a voucher. The food was fast, and the bang bang cauliflower was really good. Would have been helpful to run through what was what. Mint tea was just hot water, which considering was the drink option with the afternoon tea it was poor. The rest of the food was a bit average. The puddings were nice again. I had no idea what was what, staff not about to explain. Table was fun while waiting.
We were looking to have dinner and the main area in Chinatown was too crowded. Long quees and heavy bumpings. So we decided to try Joy King Lau, just at the corner of the main Chinatown, we got a table just when a couple left. The staffs were very nice. Food was good and the portion size was big comparing to what we had a few days ago in another Chinese restaurant in the same area. More important the place was clean and comfortable.
Food is just average as weekend can be very busy. Service is okay but not too friendly. Be mindful of 12.5% surcharges. Menu has lots of options to choose from.

Have to say I never understood when people would say oh it tastes oily until I ate here. The spring rolls were the worst I’ve sadly ever had. It’s like they were refried when the oil wasn’t hot. Not only was the outside exceptionally oily when they aren’t supposed to be, the inside was soaked in oil too. Th lettuce leaf the rolls were sat on was drenched in like warm gloopy oil. Made me feel ill. Ate like one and gave up. Although I complained and they did remove the charge it’s still not right.

Orient London is a popular Chinese restaurant in Chinatown, London. It offers a wide range of authentic Chinese cuisine, including dim sum.
I recently had the opportunity to try their dim sum, and I was very impressed. The dishes were all freshly prepared and delicious. I particularly enjoyed the har gow (shrimp dumplings), and the siu mai (pork dumplings).

Good old Dim Sum place in China town, very good air con, saved me on the hottest day in London this year. Authentic dishes! Not the top notch but decent. Tea was good too. Very friendly service. They don’t rush you to pay or leave. Nice and quiet environment inside the busy China town.

Lamb chops ✔ Crispy baked lamb chops texture, the amount is really big, there are pictures of the truth. The outer skin is baked until crispy, usually I don't love lamb I clicked, fragrant but not greasy, the most important thing is that there is no stinky smell of lamb.
On the soup baby vegetables: eat a spicy meat must be appropriate to some green vegetables O, soup super thick material is also very sufficient, it is recommended to drink some soup first to clear the mouth, fresh off the eyebrows.

It's the king's elbow that I've been longing for, and it's true to its name. The whole thing is really big, and the four of us almost couldn't finish it. Soft and smooth, chopsticks gently peeled off the bone, the cortex part of the melt in the mouth, the meat is clear but not firewood, stewed super tasty, the soup can not be missed, promise me must be a mouthful of rice a mouthful of meat, the juice overflowing, to ensure that you eat the belly of the big round satisfaction, eat still want to eat!

It reminds me of thai black soy friend rice reminds me of home. So good, the prawn is so bouncy and fresh. The rice is well seasoned as well.

The wintermelon cooked in chicken broth taste healthy. This dish reminds me of soups my mom made me in winter. 🍲

I was really impressed with the service today the water that was serviced was in a fancy bottle and I loved how they poured the coke for us the food tasted like something you’d get from a local takeaway (I might as well have gone to my friend’s restaurant for the food for a lower price) I did like the chicken ball sauce and the chicken balls itself

12.5% service charge should be discretionary and optional. But they made us pay on the bill even though the service was not great. We only let it go because the food was decent. Not great but decent.
I think it is very weird that despite being such a beautiful place the servers are really disinterested.

Amazing food! We had their Hainanese Chicken Rice and Beef Horfun. Chicken was so tasty and tender. The beef was also very soft and has an amazing wok hei. The place was a buzzing, though some people might find it a bit loud. Service was also very fast and efficient. The lady who was serving us was amazing. Will definitely be back 🫶
Been to Rasa Sayang a couple of times and food is consistently decent. The beef noodles are really nice and the roti canai with chicken is delicious but the chicken is on a bone which, in a curry in a small bowl, makes it rather difficult to eat. The Char Kway Teow is also nice and the Chargrilled Tiger Prawns were quite dry and not very flavourful. Prices decent and service efficient.
Excellent pork bun (chasiu) and egg tarts, you won’t find it in other dim sum restaurants. Best for Cheung fun with shrimps, very freshly made.

Mailinda not only serves delicious and fresh food with excellent service but also offers an authentic Chinese dining experience. The atmosphere may be just okay, but the authentic flavors make this restaurant a standout choice for those craving genuine Chinese cuisine.
The Old Town 97 Chinese restaurant in Chinatown London is definitely a hidden gem. During our recent visit, we were pleasantly surprised by the excellent service and delicious food. The rice congee was particularly delightful, and their Cantonese roast ducks rivaled those from renowned restaurants in Chinatown.
This used to be a old fashioned Malaysian restaurant serving generous heapings of popular Malaysian fare. It’s now been given the ‘Wagamama’ treatment and the menu has shrunk, the portions have reduced in size even more, and while the interior has been given a makeover, it’s now tightly packed and oriented towards turnover rather than culinary hospitality. It’s a real shame as I won’t be returning again. There are some authentic Malaysian restaurants in Shepherds Bush and Acton for those looking for the real thing.
I had read some reviews with some reviews which had low ratings recently and whilst it was ominous, we were still hoping for the best despite this. Unfortunately, the negative reviews were accurate in their concerns and the whole experience was extremely disappointing.

For a sushi and tapas all you can eat, we were hoping that we could've had more of a selection as on the whole we felt that it was rather limited even though we did try most of it. The best thing on the menu were salmon, the beef and the fried chicken but they were still just okay at best.
Service: The first waiter that we had was really nice, courteous and patient with us as he explained the menu.
However, we also had one instance with a waitress who was extremely rude to us which entirely mired the experience as well as didn't make an effort to tell us when to leave, and tried to kick us out. They also didn't communicate clearly with us that we were near the end of our service and it unfortunately left a strong impression on me and my friend who filed a complaint to the manager.
Fortunately, what salvaged this situation a little was the manager who we felt handled things well so I appreciated the manager and the first male waiter as stated in the first paragraph as they both were helpful, courteous and understanding.
Atmosphere: Unfortunately, for a Friday night this was also extremely muted as well. Perhaps it was because we were sitting on the bottom floor, but it was just us and one other family when we were there. It's a shame, because this venue could've been absolutely electric.
We were hoping that we could've had a wonderful experience with the games provided and the all you can eat but this place unfortunately did not deliver that.

Delicious Cantonese style Chinese in Chinatown London. They have set menus available to give you the opportunity to sample lots of dishes at a reasonable price. The Peking style duck was very tasty. One of the best hot and sour soups I've tasted, with prawns and it's quite spicy.
Have been coming here for years since a friend recommended this place. Love the authentic Cantonese dim sum selection in the afternoon available until 5pm daily. The price is very reasonable.
The restaurant is clean and comfortable with Chinese deco. Service is prompt and attentive. Love this hidden gem! 👍🏼

Finally visited it. Though we didn’t have prior reservation we did get the table quickly. There were few free tables at the basement but they got occupied real quick.
Ambiance is pleasant.
Service is very quick.
For drinks we had Lychee Cooler, which is a gin based cocktail and a Guava Shorline which is a non-alcoholic drink. Both were delish. Really loved them.
We ordered vegetarian Tempeh to share, which were like soy chips in a really yummy sauce. It was very flavourful.
For mains, I went with Treasures Buddha's delight which sounded interesting based on its description. The dish says it comes with noodles but they ain’t the main sized noodles but they are very minimal. Our server Alice did recommend ordering a rice side along with it.
The dish was gooood but wasn’t as flavourful as our starter/tempeh. Personally would have loved to have a bit more flavour in this dish.
Other half ordered Nasi Goreng (S) which he said he really enjoyed. It came with rice, prawn crackers, and a crispy wing kinda thing. The portion was great for the price. One of the best so far he has had in London.

Food is a little pricey but considering the huge portions served, it's worth it. The service is quite slow but it didn't bother us as we weren't in a rush. Overall experience was good and would happily visit again.
The Chinese name, 翠亨邨洒家, of this restaurant suggested it is a Hong Kong style food to me. My standard will set to Hong Kong.

We had the Beef Ho Fun, fried rice, Dim Sum Sampler, Salt and Pepper Shrimp and Sizzling Filet Beef all of which were amazing! A little on the salty side but that’s probably why we craved more. They were out of the lobster that night buy we will definitely get it next time. One of my favorite Chinese restaurants of all time.
Would give 0 stars if I could. A friend gifted me a voucher for unlimited sushi and tapas.. if you know anything about sushi or enjoy eating it DO NOT COME HERE. The most inauthentic Japanese restaurant I’ve ever been to. The screens on the table which you order your food from do not work half the time. The menu available has barely any sushi on it! We only eat halal or fish and there was hardly any sushi with fish available. Sushi rolls were mostly rice with barely any tuna or Salmon in them and had no taste. Crispy salmon skin sushi was so stale and dry, inedible. Vegetarian dishes lacked flavour. Bang bang cauliflower is deep fried and then coated in shop bought sweet chilli sauce. Even the fries and prawn crackers were dead! Don’t know how this place is surviving really. Would not recommend to my worst enemy

Had an all veggie meal. Mock chicken, tofu in mushroom, egg fried rice, and veggie noodles. Tasted good. The veggie noodles tasted the best. I will return for the noodles. Price was okay. Overall taste was good. Quality was good.
Stumbled upon this place in the Isle of Dogs, not too far from Canary Wharf jubilee line station. We went there for the hotpot which we found to be very good value and great variety of food to choose from. I’d never seen this style of hotpot before so it was an interesting experience. If you are in the CW area this is a good choice to fulfil any hotpot cravings
Nice shop. Decor was also nice, but staff seemed... Idk, definitely not rude just incredibly neutral? Very unemotional. But what matters most is the food, and the food was delicious. It's really really good, even surprised me a bit. Just be careful as they might not let you have hotpot (they close for a few hours during the middle of the day)
Overall the food was tasty, the dim sum were piping hot and the filling to dough ratio was good. The duck and pork were tasty but not as good as other places we have tried. The chat siu was very good and the beef was extremely tender. Cheng fun was also extremely tasty.

One of the best meals I’ve ever had! The flavors were amazing. The portions generous. We loved every dish. We weren’t crazy about the salt and pepper pork ribs because they were too dry. Everything else was a 10/10.
The food was great. Everytime we come, it’s always hot and fresh. The staff and service is okay, they don’t greet you properly and the atmosphere is rather quiet.

This place is the unspoken truth and definitely exceptional. The hours are fair for the environment and nightlife, the staff are professional and courteous. I literally walked to this establishment directly from 3 other Chinese restaurants in the area. 1 of the restaurants were rude, the 2nd other restaurant in progress of being aggressive and hassling a customer who had been waiting at his table for quite some time and became verbal about it...they were also demanding to me before I walked in, threw a menu at me, and a 3rd had some form of racial superiority display going on for some odd reason. After seeing the reviews for the other spots I gravitated to this one on the closing time and the lighthearted reviews. When I walked up, the place was booming with customers and had a queue outside. The queue was short and the staff were very welcoming and the food was good as well. The crispy duck pancakes and the fried rice as well as the honey iced tea and the melon bubble drink were so good that I inhaled the food before remembering to take pictures. This place is worth returning to with family and friends.

I would give Chongqing noodles with minced pork a 1 out of 10- super dry, and the type of noodle is not the authentic one. Doesn’t tastes like ‘Xiaomian’ at all!

I came here for a buffet twice and found it very delicious! I like the beef and lamb slices. It is fresh and a good portion for shabu. The service is good depending on how busy the restaurant is.

Fast service, efficient staff and delicious food. This is where you can eat truly authentic Chinese food. However the prices are extremely high, costing us almost £100 between two people.
The hot pot is good and staffs were really friendly, the location is easy to find it as well, I will go there again next time.
Spacious space and kind staffs! Foods were tasty, but was a bit mild then needed a little more seasoning. So we asked chilly oil(there were shrimps in it, so tasty), foods were became perfect flavours. Saw lots Malaysian and Singaporean customers, lots family group visit.
We've eaten here a fair few times and spent a great deal of money here over the years. While the food is of a good standard, the attitude towards customers is not great. We had a party of FOURTEEN people and we spent £470, and yet, they still had the audacity to tell us that they could only give us one tiny dish of chilli oil for all of us, and that any more would be £1 per dish more. At the end, when we asked for some boxes to take home the rest of the food, they would only give us two boxes (no bag), and said any more would incur £1 more per box. Again, there were 14 people on our table, spending almost £500.
Not to mention that several of the dishes we ordered did not turn up, and no mention was ever made of them. While the food here is good, their attitude very much is not, and this will make me reconsider bringing people to this restaurant in future.

2 orders were made. 2 different noodle dishes came. Mine came within 10 minutes, the other did not. Waiting staff were asked again, only for the wrong dish to come out.

You place your order through the interactive, digital menu which is on the table. You can also use it to create digital drawings. It is a very funky idea. The food was delicious and the portions were a good size.
I would say, definitely visit if you’re looking for unlimited Japanese style cuisine and beer and for the interactive menu experience. However, it is not a place I’d visit twice as I don’t feel like it was worth the price. Especially because some of the food items had an added cost.

The quality in every dish has dropped since they opened the chain. Rude staff and taste changes everyday. Common guys, you have ruined a good brand of food. Management please fix this, and bring back the old you.
The Imperial China ambience is as chinese as it gets. Cute bridge, check. Koi fish pond, check. Loads of red lanterns, check. The food is touristy chinese, and nothing much to write home about. We had the veg dim sum platter, the skin color was different, the stuffing in all was the same. The lobster noodles were fine. The Singaporean noodles were bland. Tea was fine. Chinatown in London is not for authentic chinese, so all in all an OK experience.
Cane here for a lunch, and do no regret it.

They don't serve food here. Only takeaway is available. They have a variety of food items following different South Asian regions.
One of my go to spots for dimsum. Good taste, wide variety and fast service. Average price for Chinatown and the service is not the best (just like any other Chinatown restaurants).

Amazing food and amazing service! Previously been many times, but this is my first time after covid lockdown. I brought here my friends who were visiting from Thailand back in the summer. It was a much needed fix for them, after a week of no Asian food at all. All food was so so so good. Char kway teow, beef rendang, and nasi lemak were our favourites.

Looking for some new place to try decided to give it a shot, especially like 5 minutes away, unfortunately - spring rolls inedible - didn't eat anything that bad in a while, my girlfriend as a sweet and sour fan, she rated minus, chicken fried rice O.K, but it I'd have to pay full price, doesn't worth, the only good thing from the order was soup.. not going to order again

Good address for dim sum, one of our favourites in Leicester Square. I love the fried taro balls, the fried bean curd skin stuffed with prawns and the cheongfun with dough fritter and cuttlefish paste. The cooked dishes were quite nice too.
Visited this restaurant for lunch while visiting the theatre to watch Book of Mormon and it was brilliant. The restaurant is split between 4 floors and is big but the service is super quick. We also managed to get a seat with a minimal wait. We went for a mix of Dim Sum and mains for lunch. The dim sum tasted great and was generous. The mains were great, I went for a roasted pork rice and the portion was huge and tasted amazing! The prices were great compared to quality of the food which might be a reason why the place was full when we visited. Highly recommended!

Personally, the food tasted decent, the service was decent and the atmosphere was fine. But the portions however were a bit small for the prices they charged. They offer a wide variety of dishes which makes it a great place for larger parties for sure. The service was pretty slow, it took approximately an hour before we were served the first dishes. The plating and presentation were not as good as a lot of other places, since the plates were so much bigger than the food contained inside. So even though the portions could have been decent, it still didn't look so. The flavours were decent. The shrimps were however too salty and the vegetables were too bland but the overall tasted decent.

Be careful of your money. I am always working until late and this restaurant is the only one locally open until 10:30PM hence I went there every night for dinner since I found it. Tonight the dinner price was 31.3 pounds after discount. I put 2 x £20 notes + £ 1.30 , total 41.30 pounds and expecting for £10 change.
To my surprise, the waiter took money and never bring back change. Then I went to counter and asked for the change. The lady told me that she only received £ 31.80 and showed me the notes, which was not actually the notes I handed in before. Because in my wallet I only has one £10 note which is still in my wallet and to make sure she gave me £10 change, I double checked I handed in 2x £20 notes before she collected cash.
However, I don't wanna start an argument with the lady as there was no CCTV camera at my table, but, this is the last time I go there. So be mindful if you pay cash , always remember to count twice.

Their chow mein, Schezuan, hakka, Maida special mixed noodles are all great. I love the manchow soup and my kids love their lollipop and chicken wings. The crispy chicken tai pai is very moreish.

Stop visiting Lotus Floating restaurant after few years due to their service and foods are not up to my expectations, after a few friendly senior staffs have left. Recently I went back to give them a try, they have improved on their dim sum, but the tea quality is poor, taste is weird from tea pot, advise to improve it. Their service is average can't expect too much in many Chinese restaurants in London, in this restaurant due to many customers on the weekend, sometime expecting some queue without reservation. You can enjoy river sea view to see some high building.

One of my favourite Chinese restaurant in London. If you love spicy food, this is the right place to visit. Overall the food here are amazing. And there are something you must order, cold dishes such as chicken 口水雞。 beef 夫妻肺片。 hot dishes, double cooked pork 回鍋肉。fish鍋包魚。chicken 乾鍋雞。 highly recommend!!
This was my 4th visit to Lotus as I live locally, but it's the first time I came exclusively for Dim-sum with my son, we ordered 10 dishes in total, all were very nice except spare ribs, it wasn't what I would normally expect, small chunks of bones with hardly any meat on them, but that's the only issue, waitress who brought the dishes was very nice and professional. Will definitely come back for more.
Go with a friend on Sunday afternoon, doesn’t need to wait long to be seated. Great dim sum selection with very reasonable price. The service is quick too, impressive. So glad I found a great place for Dim Sum, would definitely come back again!!
