Seems like a nice pub, beside the railway line in Redland just off Chandos road. It was disappointing waiting at the bar to be served after the man who arrived after us asking for "bread". The house red was good but my first impressions of the service are not

Came her for a Sunday roast, it's definitely lived up to the expectations. Had the beef roast, it was cooked to perfection. The cheesy leaks is one of my roast vegetable favs, so it was nice to see that as an option. Service was really friendly and welcoming. It's a few minutes away from Redland train station.

We were highly disappointed by our experience here. We took our family for a Sunday lunch, having read all the wonderful reviews, and it sadly did not meet our expectations at all. The food was lukewarm, barely any gravy. My sister actually asked for more gravy and it never arrived. My husbands meat was actually cold. And the portions were tiny, like they had run out or something. I'm not the sort of person who likes a huge roast dinner but this was the smallest one I've ever been served and we go out for Sunday lunch a lot. To top it all off, we'd paid a £60 deposit when we booked, which we'd sort of forgotten about, turns out the staff had too as they charged us the full amount, thankfully we realised as we were about to drive off and went back in. The funny thing is they weren't even remotely surprised about this, nor did they apologise, just got the card machine and issued the refund. We definitely won't be going back.

Lovely pub, great drinks selection and very friendly staff and good vibe. Went for Sunday Roast and starters were excellent and selection of sides were Great. However some elements were very cold and the meat wasn't great

Delicious food, friendly staff.
Enjoyed a lovely evening in there.
This is not boozer prices however, the food is definitely high end and the prices reflect that.

Aaaaamazing Sunday Roast, it is not a cheap option but it is totally worth it!
I went with my family and everyone said how good everything was.
For the SR, It is a bit different, they had a menu: 2 courses £25 or 3 courses £31.
The pork belly was insane!!! Very very good!! Crispy and juicy! The veggies were delicious.
My parents ordered fish and they weren't less happy, they loved it too.
We also ordered a bottle of white wine (this was nothing especial, I must say)
Desserts were also delicious.
Our main waiter (an English lad who spoke very good Spanish ;) couldn't be more efficient and nicer!
I'd highly recommend this place!
I thought I am going to start posting a photo of the toilet (a friend of mine used to say...how you see the restaurant's toilet is how you can expect the kitchen to be!!
in this case? Very clean!)

Sunday Roast done exquisitely. Simply the best Sunday roast I've had for a long time.
The Sirloin was served pink (as it should be), the pork belly was tender on the inside and crispy skin.
Good sized portions, lots of vegetables and roasted potatoes.
Not your least expensive, but worth every penny.
